Now, therefore, I, the said Native Minister, do decide to apply the provisions of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931, to the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto as a part of such scheme, and hereby give notice of my intention accordingly.
No owner, except with the consent of the Native Minister, is entitled to exercise any rights of ownership in connection with the land affected so as to interfere with or obstruct the carrying-out of the development scheme.

THE following special order made by the Waitaki County Council is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Amendment Act, 1931.

WAITAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Counties Amendment Act, 1931, the Waitaki County Council resolves and declares by way of special order that sections 121 and 131 of the Counties Act, 1920, shall not apply to the Council.
I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly made.

Notice under the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, and its Amendment, fixing the Closing-hours of Butchers’ Shops within the Borough of Pahiatua.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing has been forwarded to me from the occupiers of butchers’ shops within the Borough of Pahiatua, pursuant to section 32 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22 :
And whereas, I, Adam Hamilton, Minister of Labour, am satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the said shops within the said borough :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said section 32, I do hereby direct that on and after the 3rd day of October, 1932, all the said shops within the said borough shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows : Subject to closing not later than 1 p.m. on the day observed as the statutory closing-day, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 5 p.m.
The notice dated the 20th June, 1905, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 22nd June, 1905, fixing the closing-hours of all shops in the Borough of Pahiatua shall be and is hereby cancelled, in so far as it relates to the shops affected by this notice, as from the date of the coming into operation of this notice.
Dated at Wellington, this 21st day of September, 1932.

The notice dated the 21st December, 1908, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 23rd December, 1908, fixing the closing-hours of butchers’ shops in the Borough of Masterton shall be and is hereby cancelled as from the date of the coming into operation of this notice.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Te Kauwhata Town District.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Town Boards Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be included in the Te Kauwhata Town District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE TE KAUWHATA TOWN DISTRICT.
ALL that area situated in Block XV, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County, containing 115 acres : Bounded by a line commencing at the northern corner of Section 51, Block XV, aforesaid ; thence north-easterly generally along the southern side of the Te Kauwhata Station Road to and across the North Island Main Trunk Railway to the north-western corner of Allotment 539, Whangamarino Parish ; thence by the western and southern boundaries of that allotment to and across a public road to the south-western corner of Portion Allotment 514 of the parish aforesaid ;
