At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of September, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

John Faulks,
James Faulks,
Francis David Thomson,
Frederick Henry Ernest Collings,
Robert Cairns Walker,
Walter Henry Thomson, and
Amos McKegg

to be the Wanaka Islands Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Pembroke Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

WANAKA ISLANDS DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 300 acres, more or less, and known as Harwich Island, Lake Wanaka. Bounded on all sides by Lake Wanaka.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 290 acres, more or less, known as Crescent or Rabbit Island, Lake Wanaka. Bounded on all sides by Lake Wanaka.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 113 acres, more or less, being an island in Stevenson’s Arm, Lake Wanaka. Bounded on all sides by Lake Wanaka.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods 10 poles, more or less, known as Ruby Island, in Lake Wanaka, situate about two miles from Pembroke.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres, more or less, being Section 1, Block XIII, Lower Wanaka Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a road-line, 2927 links; towards the east by a road-line, 3304·6 links; towards the south by a road-line, 4656 links; and towards the west by Section 2 of same block, 2644 links.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Section 29, Block XIV, Lower Wanaka Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a road-line which bounds Lake Wanaka, 1967 links; towards the east by a road-line, 1185 links; towards the south-west by a road-line, 2163 links.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 37 acres and 36 poles, more or less, being Sections 1 to 4, Block XIV, 1 to 4 and 8, Block XV, 1 to 6 and 8 to 14, Block XVI, 1 to 16, Block XVII, closed Roads 1300R and 1324R, Town of Pembroke, and Section 31, Block III, Lower Wanaka Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Roy’s Bay, Lake Wanaka, 6840·8 links; towards the north-east by Section 7, aforesaid Block XV, 192·7 links; towards the south-east by Dungannon Street, 3615·1 links, across Dungannon Street and towards the north-east by Macdougall Street, 1113·5 links; towards the south-east by Brownston Street, 1581·5 links; towards the south-west by Stone Street, 250 links; towards the north-west, south-west, and south-east by Section 7, aforesaid Block XVI, 200, 125, and 200 links respectively; towards the south-west by Stone Street, 1369·7 links; across a public road and towards the south-east by a public road, 1581·4 links; and towards the south-west by Crown land, 530 links: and excepting from the above-described area an intersecting public road, 100 links wide, a deduction for which has been made from the area.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Sections 5, 6, 32, and 33, Block IX, Town of Pembroke. Bounded towards the north-west by Sections 7 and 34, 500 links; towards the north-east by Lismore Street, 200 links; towards the south-east by Sections 4 and 31, 500 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 200 links.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 28 poles, more or less, being Section 5, Block XV, Town of Pembroke. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 1256·6 links; towards the south-east by Dungannon Street, 345·2 links; towards the south-west by Section 7, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, 235·8 links; and towards the west by Lake Wanaka, 1257·4 links.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 24 poles, more or less, being Section 6, Block XV, Town of Pembroke. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 1201 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 101·3 links; towards the south-west by Lake Wanaka, 1239·2 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 104·5 links.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 46 acres and 11 poles, more or less, being Section 90, Block IX, Town of Pembroke. Bounded towards the north-east generally by a public road, 4292·9 links; towards the south-east by Sections 89 and 92, 999·2 links; towards the south-west by Hedditch Street, 1021·2 links;
