Order in Council prescribing the Term in respect of the Putaruru Town Board’s Loan of £850.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of January, 1932.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Putaruru Town Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) has been authorized to borrow in respect of a loan to be known as “Recreation-grounds and Park Loan, 1929,” the sum of eight hundred and fifty pounds, and the said sum has not yet been borrowed :
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by section one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said section”), to the borrowing by the said local authority of the said sum of eight hundred and fifty pounds for the term hereinafter mentioned :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said section and by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby prescribe that the said sum of eight hundred and fifty pounds, or any part thereof, may be raised in respect of the said loan by the said local authority for a term of ten years, and the said local authority is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum accordingly.

Portions of Thorp Street, Harbour Road, Port Road, and King Edward Street, in the Borough of Motueka, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of January, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Motueka Borough Council on the sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, the portions of streets affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—
“That the Motueka Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Motueka by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the following portions of streets, namely :—
Thorp Street (eastern side) fronting Sections 139 and 140/43.
Thorp Street (western side) fronting part Section 152 and all Sections 150/51 and 148/49.
Harbour Road (both sides) intersecting part Section 140/41.
Port Road (northern side) fronting Sections part 143 and 148.
King Edward Street (northern side), fronting part Section 165 marked on accompanying plan ‘I–H’”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions of streets (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.
The eastern side of all that portion of street known as Thorp Street fronting Sections 139 and 142 and part Sections 140, 141, and 143, Motueka Original District, Block IV, Motueka Survey District; marked “A–C” on plan.
The western side of all that portion of the said street fronting part Section 152 and Sections 148, 149, 150, and 151, Motueka Original District, Block IV, Motueka Survey District; marked “B–C” on plan.
The northern side of all that portion of street known as Port Road fronting part Section 143 and Section 148, Motueka Original District, Block IV, Motueka Survey District; marked “F–G” on plan.
The northern side of all that portion of street known as King Edward Street fronting part Section 165, Motueka Original District, Block IV, Motueka Survey District; marked “I–H” on plan.
All that street known as Harbour Road fronting parts Section 140 and part Section 141, Motueka Original District, Block IV, Motueka Survey District, marked “D–E” on plan.
All in the Nelson Land District, Borough of Motueka : as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81028, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
The member for the Mount Pleasant Riding of the Heathcote County Council, ex officio,
Stanley Augustus Mander,
Walter Charles De Thier,
Thomas John Hughes, and
Harold Edgar
to be the Mount Pleasant Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at four o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Heathcote County Council Office, Christchurch, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section sixty-five of the Native Purposes Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations with respect to the Ngaitahu Trust Board, and otherwise for the purpose of giving effect to the said section.

REGULATIONS.
- In these regulations—
“Board” means the Ngaitahu Trust Board :
“Member” means a member of the Board :
“Chairman” means the Chairman of the Board :
“Under-Secretary” means the Under-Secretary for Native Affairs :
“The said section” means section 65 of the Native Purposes Act, 1931.
