At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of January, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section sixty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that from the moneys received in respect of the Makaraka Domain, described in the First Schedule hereto, and at the date hereof lying to the credit of the said domain, a sum not exceeding two hundred and thirty-two pounds ten shillings shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the Gisborne Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto.

MAKARAKA DOMAIN.—GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 6, Block II, Turanganui Survey District: Area, 43 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of January, 1932.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth—subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, and to the regulations made under section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, on the eleventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twelfth day of the same month, or any regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor (such regulations, which are deemed to be incorporated herein, being hereinafter collectively referred to as “the regulations”)—hereby grant to Thomas Feather, sen., of Te Oka, farmer (hereinafter with his successors and assigns referred to as “the licensee”), a license to take and use from a stream situated in Section 20, Kinloch Settlement, Block VI, Akaroa Survey District, hereinafter referred to as “the said stream”), in the Canterbury Land District, for the purposes hereinafter set forth, a stream of water (hereinafter referred to as “the said water”) not exceeding thirty-two cubic feet per second respectively at any one time; and also to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines hereinafter described on the conditions hereinafter set forth: Provided that nothing herein shall be held to guarantee that the said stream contains sufficient water to supply the volume of water hereinbefore referred to; and all rights hereby granted shall be subject to all existing rights heretofore granted, whether under this Act or otherwise.
