A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, the land enumerated in the First Column of the Schedule hereto was temporarily reserved as an endowment for primary education, upon the date specified in the Second Column of the said Schedule:
And whereas notice of such reservation was laid before both Houses of Parliament: And whereas the two Houses have passed resolutions, upon the dates specified in the third column, approving, in terms of section 362 (2) of the Land Act, 1924, of the land being permanently set aside as an endowment for primary education:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1924, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto is hereby reserved as an endowment for primary education.

Altering and redefining the Boundaries of the Manawatu and the Rangitoto Rabbit Districts.—(Notice No. Ag. 3012.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of January, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section thirty-three of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, it is enacted that the boundaries of two or more contiguous rabbit districts may from time to time be altered by the Governor-General in Council in accordance with a resolution proposing the alteration passed by the Board of each of the districts affected:
And whereas the districts known as the “Manawatu Rabbit District” and the “Rangitoto Rabbit District” have been constituted, and endure for the purposes of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas a resolution was passed by the Board of the Manawatu Rabbit District on the twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and a similar resolution was passed by the Board of the Rangitoto Rabbit District on the sixteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, praying in each case for the alteration of the boundaries of the said districts in the manner described in the said resolutions and set forth in the First Schedule hereto:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to alter and redefine the boundaries of the said districts in accordance with the said resolutions and in the manner hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter and redefine the boundaries of the said districts so constituted as aforesaid, and doth hereby declare that the area described in the First Schedule hereto, being now part of the Manawatu Rabbit District, shall be added to and form part of the Rangitoto Rabbit District; that the boundaries of the Manawatu Rabbit District shall be those set forth in the Second Schedule hereto; and that the boundaries of the Rangitoto Rabbit District shall be those set forth in the Third Schedule hereto; and doth further declare that this Order in Council shall take effect from the date of the publication thereof in the Gazette.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE MANAWATU RABBIT DISTRICT AND INCLUDED IN THE RANGITOTO RABBIT DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in Block V, Te Kawau Survey District, being that part of the land in D.P. 6450, known as “The Island”: Bounded towards the west, north, and east by the old channel of the Rangitikei River; and towards the south by the new channel of the said river.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE MANAWATU RABBIT DISTRICT.
COMMENCING at a point in the Rangitikei River, being the middle-line of the main channel of that river opposite where the Ohakea Terrace Road junctions with the Bulls-Sandon Road at the southern end of the Bulls Bridge; thence in a south-westerly direction to and along the said Ohakea Terrace Road to its junction with McDonell’s Road; thence in the same direction along McDonell’s Road to Gust’s Road and the north-east boundary of Section 354, Block XV, Rangitoto Survey District; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 354, 355, 356, and 360, Block XV, Rangitoto Survey District, to Taylor’s Road; thence eastward along Taylor’s Road to Frecklington’s Road; thence south-westerly along Frecklington’s Road to the north-west boundary of Section 9s, Makowhai Soldier Settlement, Block II, Te Kawau Survey District; thence eastward along the northern boundaries of the said Section 9s and Section 10s and Section 11s to the north-west boundary of Section 12s; thence in a southerly direction to the north-west boundary of Section 17s; thence eastward along the northern boundaries of Sections 17s, 18s, and 19s to Section 35, Block III, Te Kawau Survey District; thence along the western and northern boundaries of Section 35 to the Foxton-Sandon Road; thence in a southerly direction along the said road to the Rongotea Road; thence in a south-easterly direction to north-east corner of Section 38, Block III, Te Kawau Survey District; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of the said Section 38 and in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of Section 42 to Tompkin’s Road; thence in a southerly direction along Tompkin’s Road to the northern boundary of Section 112, Block VII, Te Kawau Survey District; thence in an easterly and southerly direction along the northern and eastern boundaries of said Section 112 to the north-west corner of Section 47; thence along the northern boundaries of Sections 47 and 48 and the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 49, Block VII, Te Kawau Survey District, to Milner’s
