(4) Kaua te tangata e tahu, e mahi ranei i tetahi ahua pia,
waiwhakahaurangi ranei—
(a) I roto i tetahi kainga kua rohea:
(b) I roto ranei i tetahi whare i runga ranei i tetahi whenua
takiwa ranei e nohoia ana e tetahi Maori ahakoa kei
roto i tetahi kainga kua rohea i tetahi waahi ke
atu ranei o te takiwa.
(5) Kaua tetahi tangata e whakawhiwhi ki tetahi Maori
i roto i te Takiwa ahakoa he Kainga kua rohea i tetahi waahi
ke atu ranei i te pia i mahia keia atu e tetahi Purua (brewer)
whairahana i raro i Waahi III o te Ture, Moni, 1915.
(6) Ko ia tangata e takahi ana i tenei pae-ro e ahei ana kia
whiua ki te moni kia kaua e neke atu i te rima pauna (£5)
mo te takahanga tuatahi, kia kaua e neke atu i te tekaupaua
(£10) mo te takahanga tuarua a kia kaua e neke atu i te
tekau-ma-rima pauna (£15) mo te takahanga tuatoru mo ia
takahianga ranei i muri iho.
Ko te mana i raro i tenei paero e apiti atu ana, kahore e
whakakore ana i te mana o tetahi atu Ture.

Appointment of Honorary Child Welfare Officer under the
Child Welfare Act, 1925.

IN pursuance of section 2 of the Child Welfare Act, 1925,
I, Robert Masters, Minister of Education, do hereby
appoint
William Henry Paul, of Hamilton,
an Honorary Child Welfare Officer for the purposes of the
said Act for the period ending 31st December, 1932.

2nd Lieutenant F. H. G. Fairweather, Regimental Supernumerary List, is posted to the Active List. Dated 19th
August, 1932.
REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.
Lieutenant J. C. Holland, the Auckland Regiment (Countess
of Ranfurly’s Own), is attached under the provisions of
para. 141, General Regulations, 1927, and is posted to the
13th Coast Battery. Dated 16th August, 1932.
THE AUCKLAND REGIMENT (COUNTESS OF RANFURLY’S OWN).
Lieutenant G. K. Fussell, from the Hawke’s Bay Regiment,
to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 14th September,
1930, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 11th
August, 1932.
Lieutenant J. C. Holland, from the Reserve of Officers, to be
Lieutenant, and is attached to the 13th Coast Battery,
N.Z.A. Dated 16th August, 1932.
Vincent Erris James Wells to be 2nd Lieutenant, and is
posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 22nd March,
1932.
THE WAIKATO REGIMENT.
Lieutenant E. St. John, from the Nelson, Marlborough, and
West Coast Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority
from 31st January, 1930, and is posted to the Regimental
Supernumerary List. Dated 24th August, 1932.
THE HAWKE’S BAY REGIMENT.
Lieutenant G. K. Fussell, Regimental Supernumerary List,
is transferred to the Auckland Regiment (Countess of
Ranfurly’s Own). Dated 11th August, 1932.
THE CANTERBURY REGIMENT.
Captain W. A. Breach, Regimental Supernumerary List, is
transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 7.
Dated 26th August, 1932.
Lieutenant F. W. Wilson, M.C., from the Reserve of Officers,
to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 19th May, 1930, is
posted to the 1st Battalion, and is granted the temporary
rank of Captain, dated 16th July, 1932.
Lieutenant D. K. Walker, 1st Battalion, resigns his commission. Dated 23rd August, 1932.
Lieutenant H. M. Kerr, Regimental Supernumerary List, is
transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 10.
Dated 24th August, 1932.
Hon. Lieutenant (Bandmaster) C. H. Hoskin, 1st Battalion,
