Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of Whangarei of a Width of less than 66 feet, but not less than 40 feet, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of August, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Whangarei Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the said street (with the exception of Lot 6 of Reyburn’s Subdivision of part Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei (Deeds Plan W65)), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Whangarei, to be known as Victoria Quay, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 25·4 perches, more or less, being portion of Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei, and land below mean high-water mark, Block IX, Whangarei Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83652, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and yellow.

Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1928, in the Borough of St. Kilda.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of August, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 4·44 perches.

Being portion of Allotment 2, Block XVIII, Township of Musselburgh (Borough of St. Kilda).

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84406, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.

Directing Sale of Railway Land near Normanby, under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of August, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever,
for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the said land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 3 acres 1 rood 20·3 perches.

Portion of Railway Reserve (Section 324, Patea), Block I, Hawera Survey District, Hawera County. (S.O. 71?3.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 1963, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Selwyn Park Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of August, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Dargaville Borough Council

to be the Selwyn Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the nineteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Municipal Buildings, Dargaville, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Dargaville, situate in Block XIII, Maungaru Survey District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Lot 195 and Lots 226 to 245 inclusive, on a plan deposited at the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and numbered 859; being a subdivision of part Kaihu No. 2D Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/952, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of August, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section four hundred and forty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

SCHEDULE.

PARAHIRAHI A No. 3B 1 Block, Punakitere Survey District: Approximate area, 12 acres 3 roods 36 perches.
