The New Zealand Reparation Estates Amendment Order, 1932.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this 8th day of August, 1932.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by virtue of the provisions of the Treaty of Peace with Germany which was signed at Versailles on the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and of the New Zealand Reparation Estates Order, 1920, His Majesty, in right of the Government of New Zealand, is entitled to retain property situated in Western Samoa, and at one time belonging to German nationals or German companies:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, and in pursuance of the authority in that behalf conferred upon him by the Treaties of Peace Act, 1921, the Western Samoa Order in Council, 1920, made by His Majesty in Council, and all other powers and authorities in this behalf him enabling, doth hereby order as follows:—

  1. This Order may be cited as the New Zealand Reparation Estates Amendment Order, 1932.

  2. The New Zealand Reparation Estates Amendment Order, 1930, is hereby amended by deleting subclause (2) of clause 2 thereof, and substituting therefor the following subclauses:—

“(2) All references in the New Zealand Reparation Estates Order, 1920, and its amendments, or in any other Order, or in any ordinance, regulation, or other instrument to the New Zealand Reparation Estates Board or to the Manager of the New Zealand Reparation Estates shall hereafter be deemed to be references to the General Manager of the New Zealand Reparation Estates.

“(3) All references in the New Zealand Reparation Estates Service Order, 1926, and its amendments, to the Administrator of Western Samoa (except the reference thereto in clause 10 of the New Zealand Reparation Estates Service Amendment Order, 1926) shall hereafter be deemed to be references to the General Manager of the New Zealand Reparation Estates.”

Assigning Industrial Districts to Commissioner under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and its Amendments.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of August, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS Ernest William Frederick Gohns has been duly appointed a Conciliation Commissioner for the purposes of Part II of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby assign, as from the fifteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, for the purposes of the said Act, to the said Conciliation Commissioner, the following industrial districts, viz.: Northern, Taranaki, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson, Westland, Canterbury, and Otago and Southland.

Regulations under the Stock Act, 1908, governing the Importation of Sausage-casings into New Zealand.—(Notice No. Ag. 3060).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 8th day of August, 1932.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Stock Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the regulations under the said Act, governing the importation of sausage-casings into New Zealand, made on the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in the Gazette on the fourth day of the same month, at page 2926, and doth hereby absolutely prohibit the importation into New Zealand of any sausage-casings of animal origin, except where such importation takes place in accordance with the following regulations; and doth hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect and the regulations hereby made shall come into force on the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette.
