A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron
Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road in Aongatete
Survey District, described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road closed:—
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
1 0 18·1 Allotments 25, 36, and 240.
0 3 33·5 Allotments 41, 241, and 245.
1 1 12·8 Allotments 44 and 243.

Situated in Apata Parish, Block IX, Aongatete Survey
District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22690.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84037,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of
August, 1932.

Portion of Road closed, in Block XV, Waimate Survey District,
Waimate County, and the Land contained therein added to a
Recreation Reserve.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto, and also do hereby declare the land comprised therein,
being adjacent to the reserve likewise described in the said
Schedule, to be added to the said reserve.

SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED AND LAND ADDED TO A RECREATION RESERVE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed and added to
recreation reserve: 4 acres 2 roods 9·1 perches.
Adjoining Reserve 1857 (Knottingley Park Domain) (perma-
nently reserved for recreation purposes by Warrant dated
the eighth day of October, 1883, and published in New
Zealand Gazette, No. 105, of the eleventh day of the same
month, at page 1476).

Situated in Block XV, Waimate Survey District (Canter-
bury R.D.). (S.P. 2224.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84226,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of
August, 1932.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron
Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion on New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Akatarawa
Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 roods
16 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Section 9, Pakuratahi
District.

Situated in Block XVI, Akatarawa Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84134,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of
August, 1932.

Trustee of Oamaru Racecourse appointed.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS William Wright was appointed to be a trustee
of the Oamaru Racecourse under the provisions of
an Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Otago intituled
the Oamaru Racecourse Reserve Management Ordinance,
1870: And whereas the said William Wright has resigned
his office as trustee, and it is therefore necessary to appoint
another person to be a trustee in the place of the said William
Wright:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the
powers and authorities vested in me by the aforesaid
Ordinance and by subsection two of section twenty-nine of
the Acts Interpretation Act, 1924, do hereby appoint

James Edmond Farrell

of Oamaru, to be a permanent trustee and member of the
corporate body appointed under the said Oamaru Race-
course Reserve Management Ordinance, 1870, by the name
and style of “The Trustees of the Oamaru Racecourse,” in
the place of the said William Wright.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of
August, 1932.

Land set apart as an Addition to a River-protection and
Afforestation Reserve.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
section nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924,
I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from
and after the date hereof the land comprised in the closed
road and severance described in the First Schedule hereto,
being land adjoining the reserve for river-protection and
afforestation, described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall
be deemed to be added to the said reserve.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing
2 roods 24·4 perches, being originally part of Section 3 of
119 and closed road, dealt with by Proclamation published
in Gazette of 14th January, 1932, and now known as Section 7,
Block IX, Cloudy Bay Survey District. As the same is
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3200E, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing
by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods, being part Section 2 of
119, Wairau West, situated in Block IX, Cloudy Bay Survey
District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by
