Sale of Unclaimed Bicycles.

Police Department,
Wellington, 25th July, 1932.

IT is hereby notified that a number of unclaimed bicycles in the hands of the Police at Christchurch Police-station will, if not claimed before Wednesday, the 17th August, 1932, be sold thereafter by public auction.

Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained from the Superintendent of Police at Christchurch.

Trade-marks.—Goods prohibited to be imported.

IT is hereby notified for public information that under the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1908, goods of the nature set forth hereunder, to which the trade-marks described below or any mark so nearly resembling the same as to be calculated to deceive have been falsely applied in infringement of the registered trade-marks of S. A. Smith and Company, Limited, of Albert Street, Auckland, are prohibited from importation into New Zealand.

If any such goods are imported they will be liable to detention and to be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of that Act.

A trade-mark is deemed, for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, to be falsely applied to goods if it is applied without the assent of the proprietor of such trade-mark:—

Paint for use on iron, wood, cement, brickwork, and other surfaces No. 30028, comprising as one of its essential particulars the word “Ezywurk”.
Polish for use on automobiles and similar vehicles No. 30029, comprising as one of its essential particulars the word “Ezywurk”.
Polish for use on furniture and other similar wood work No. 30030, comprising as one of its essential particulars the word “Ezywurk”.

Notice to Mariners No. 37 of 1932.

NEW ZEALAND.—EAST COAST.—NORTH ISLAND.

Napier Approach: Buoy established.

Position: Approx. 018°, 1·7 miles from Ahuriri Bluff Light-house. Lat. 39° 37½′ S., long. 176° 56′ E. Chart 2513.

Details: A red conical buoy has been moored in the above position in 42 ft. M.L.W.S. close southward of a shoal with a least depth of 26 ft. M.L.W.S.

Note.—Masters of overseas vessels of a draught approaching 24 ft. should not proceed inwards beyond Ahuriri Bluff Light-house bearing 210°, where they should wait until boarded by a pilot.
