three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.
SCHEDULE.
THE southern side of all that portion of road situated in the
Canterbury Land District, Akaroa and Wainui Road District,
known as Giddens Road, fronting Rural Sections 334 and 334x,
Block III, Akaroa Survey District. As the said portion of
road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 84115, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Treasury Regulations amended.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority con-
ferred on him by section three of the Public Revenues
Act, 1926, and section twelve of the Finance Act, 1930 (No. 2),
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend
the regulations made under the said Public Revenues Act,
1926, on the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the Gazette on
the same date, at page 2503, in manner appearing in the
Schedule hereto ; and doth direct that the amendment hereby
made shall form part of and be read with the aforesaid
regulations, and shall come into force on the first day of
August, 1932.
SCHEDULE.
By adding, after Regulation 71, the following new regulation :—
71A. Sight drafts drawn pursuant to section 12 of the
Finance Act, 1930 (No. 2), shall be in the following form or
to the like effect :—

Variation of Order in Council prohibiting Alienation of certain
Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is enacted by section one hundred and
sixty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, that any
Order in Council made thereunder may at any time be varied
or revoked :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and
authority vested in him, doth hereby vary an Order in Council
made under the said section one hundred and sixty-seven,
dated the fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-two, regarding Hauturu B 2 Section 2A 1A and
other blocks, set out in the Schedule to such Order in Council,
by excluding and excepting from prohibition of alienation
the land set out in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting Reserves in the South Wairarapa River Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto
have been duly set apart for river-protection pur-
poses : And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General,
it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the South Wairarapa
River Board :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and
after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the
Schedule hereto shall become vested in the South Wairarapa
River Board, in trust, for river-protection purposes.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto
have been duly set apart for recreation purposes :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is
expedient to vest the said reserves in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Burgesses of the Borough of Lower Hutt :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and
after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the
Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Burgesses of the Borough of Lower Hutt, in trust, for
recreation purposes.
