Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £3,000
by the Christchurch Fire Board.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1932.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the Christchurch Fire Board (hereinafter
called “the said local authority”) is desirous of
raising the sum of three thousand pounds by a loan to be
known as “Redemption Loan, 1932,” for the purpose of re-
deeding the outstanding liability in respect of a loan of
ten thousand pounds maturing on the thirteenth day of October,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

And whereas the said local authority has complied with
the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act,
1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient
that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in
Council under the said Act should be given to the raising of
the said loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set
forth:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the said Act, and by section thirty-two
of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers
and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby
consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said
loan up to the amount of three thousand pounds, for a term
of six years, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not
produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds
ten shillings per centum per annum, subject to the condition
that the said loan shall be repaid by instalments of not less
than five hundred pounds per annum during the first five
years of the currency of the loan and the balance in the sixth
year.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £12,300
by the Whakatane Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1932.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the Whakatane Borough Council (hereinafter
called “the said local authority”) is desirous of
raising the sum of twelve thousand three hundred pounds
by a loan to be known as “Electricity Redemption Loan,
1932,” for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding liability
in respect of a loan of sixteen thousand five hundred pounds
maturing on sixth August, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-two :

And whereas the said local authority has complied with
the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926
(hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said
loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the said Act and by section thirty-two
of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent
to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan up
to the amount of twelve thousand three hundred pounds, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce
to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds ten
shillings per centum per annum, upon terms of making the
said loan, together with interest thereon, repayable by instal-
ments extending over a period not exceeding twenty years.

by the Tararua Electric-power Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1932.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the Tararua Electric-power Board (herein-
after called “the said local authority”) is desirous of
raising the sum of one thousand and ninety pounds by a loan
to be known as “Eketahuna Borough Council Redemption
Loan, 1932,” for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding
balance in respect of a loan of one thousand two hundred and
fifty pounds matured on first May, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-two :

And whereas the said local authority has complied with
the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926
(hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said
loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the said Act, and by section thirty-two
of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers
and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby
consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said
loan up to the amount of one thousand and ninety pounds,
for a term of five years, at such rate or rates of interest as shall
not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five
pounds ten shillings per centum per annum, subject to the
condition that the said local authority shall, during the
currency of the loan, make payments of not less than one
hundred pounds per annum in reduction of the loan.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising by the Hutt County
Council of a Loan of £6,490 on the Instalment-repayment
System.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1932.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the Hutt County Council (hereinafter called
“the said local authority”) has been authorized
to borrow in respect of a loan to be known as “Antecedent
Liability Renewal Loan, 1932,” the sum of six thousand four
hundred and ninety pounds, and the said sum has not yet
been borrowed:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, and by section thirty-two of the
Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent
to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan up
to the amount of six thousand four hundred and ninety
pounds, upon terms of making the said loan, together with
interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over a
period not exceeding twenty years.
