As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84111, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Cancelling a Condition as to setting back the Building-line of Portion of Stoke Street, in the City of Wellington, imposed by Order in Council under Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of August, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the twenty-sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 10, of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, exempting the southern side of portion of Stoke Street in the City of Wellington from the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a condition as to the building-line, by cancelling the condition as to the building-line imposed by the said Order in Council, in so far as it affects Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 7581.

Confirming Resolution made by the Auckland Harbour Board under Section 47, Finance Act, 1925.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of August, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Auckland Harbour Board (hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), by a special resolution dated the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, established a superannuation fund under the Local Authorities Superannuation Act, 1908, for the benefit of the permanent employees then or thereafter in its service:

And whereas such resolution was confirmed by the Governor by Order in Council dated the twelfth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, as provided by the said Act:

And whereas the Board by a special resolution passed on the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and confirmed on the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, made under section forty-seven of the Finance Act, 1925 (hereinafter referred to as “the said resolution”), has increased the benefits payable to or on behalf of the widow and child of a certain deceased contributor in manner provided in the said resolution:

And whereas it is expedient to confirm the said resolution:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section forty-seven of the Finance Act, 1925, and section six of the Local Authorities Superannuation Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby confirm the said resolution, and doth hereby declare that the said resolution shall take effect as from the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Halswell Domain.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Edward Paterson,
William John Brandon,
Albert Edmond Humm,
Franklin Collinson Hobson,
William Wilson,
Robert Henry Waites,
William Hayes,
Hugh Horwell Hayes, and
William Gardiner

to be the Halswell Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at half past two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Halswell Domain Pavilion as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Frank Bryan Anyon,
Max Wilson Mills,
Robert Theodore Mead Edmonds,
Alfred Charles Atkinson,
Oliver Noel Gillespie, and
Walter Reginald Brook Oliver

to be the Ward Island Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twelfth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at half-past four o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Dominion Farmers’ Institute, Wellington, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—WARD ISLAND DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Harbour of Port Nicholson, bounded on all sides by the sea, and called or known by the name of Ward Island.
