CIVIC PROPERTIES, LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of CIVIC PROPERTIES, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above-named company held on Friday the 22nd July, 1932, the following resolution was passed:-
"That it has been proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and that LEONARD KNIGHT, Public Accountant, of 408 N.Z. Insurance Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, be and is hereby appointed the Liquidator of the Company for the purposes of the winding-up."
Creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before Monday, the 22nd August, 1932, to send their names, addresses, and particulars of their debts or claims to the Liquidator, and, if so required by notice in writing, are to come in and prove their debts or claims, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefits of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of THE DOMINION MUTUAL INSURANCE ASSOCIATION, a duly incorporated company registered under the Companies Act, 1908, as an unlimited company.
BY an order made by the Honourable Sir Alexander Lawrence Herdman, dated the 18th day of July, 1932, on the petition of Associated Investment Underwriters (N.Z.), Limited (in liquidation), it was ordered that the above-named The Dominion Mutual Insurance Association be wound up by this Court under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that the Official Liquidator be empowered to exercise from time to time all or any of the powers set forth in section 195 of the said Act (excepting only the power set forth in subsection (g) of the said section 195) without the sanction or intervention of this Court; and further that the petitioner be allowed its costs of and incidental to the said petition.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £500 authorized to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the Towai-Paiaka Road Loan (1930), £500, the said Bay of Islands County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of all that parcel of land situate in the Towai Riding of the Bay of Islands County, known as the Towai-Paiaka Road Loan (1930) Special Rating Area, as defined in the following Schedule:-
