Mining Privileges to be struck off the Register.—Notice under the Mining Act, 1926.

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926, that, unless sufficient cause is shown to the contrary within three months from the date hereof, the mining privileges mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Registers.

Land in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 18th July, 1932.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 15th August, 1932.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 17th August, 1932, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board, or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Hobson County.—Kaihu Survey District.

(National-endowment land.)

SECTION 3, Block IV : Area, 513 acres 3 roods. Capital value, £450. Half-yearly rent, £9.

Loaded with £1,800, for improvements consisting of a four-roomed dwelling with kitchenette and bathroom; woolshed (40 ft. by 32 ft.); cow-byre (four bails); and separator-room (40 ft. by 13 ft.); 190 chains boundary fencing; 305 chains subdivisional fencing and 10 chains road fencing; felling and grassing. This amount is payable in cash or by a deposit of £150, the balance to remain on long-term mortgage under the provisions of the Discharged Soldiers’ Settlement Act.

Situated on the Mamaranui–Waihue Road, adjoining the Kairara Post-office and School. Two miles from Mamaranui
