Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block XVI,
Christchurch Survey District, acquired for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and
which was acquired for a portion of the Hurunui-Waitaki
Railway, Christchurch-Lyttelton Branch, and which is no
longer required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication
hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that
such road shall be maintained by the Heathcote County
Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled
and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 2 acres
0 roods 8 perches.
Being portion of railway land.
Situated in Block XVI, Christchurch Survey District
(Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 2254.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83766,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of
July, 1932.

house (Waitomo Caves), in Block XI, Orahihi Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for the purposes of an accommodation-
house, and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of July, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of
July, 1932.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the Stratford Main Trunk Railway,
Matiere Section.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 3 roods
23 perches.
Being part Section 1, D.P. 3910, and parts Lots 1, 2, and 5,
D.P. 3996, being part Section 1, Block IV, Ohura Survey
District (Taranaki R.D.). (S.S. 7089.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84078, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured neutral.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of
July, 1932.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes of River-conservation works
generally and for river works, and shall vest in the Waimakariri
River Trust as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I
do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-two.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood
33 perches.
Being portion of Rural Section 1152.
Situated in Block III, Christchurch Survey District.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84230,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
