CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Land in the North Auckland Land District for Sale or Selection.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 27th June, 1932.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be opened for selection in terms of the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m., on Monday, 18th July, 1932.

The land may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or on deferred payments, or be selected on renewable lease.

Applicants must appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 10 o’clock a.m. on Wednesday, 20th July, 1932, but if any applicant so desires he may be examined by the Land Board of any other district or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Whangarei County.—Hukerenui Survey District.

SECTION 47, Block X: Area, 409 acres 0 roods 11 perches. Capital value, £370. Deposit on deferred payments, £20; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £11 7s. 6d.; renewable lease: half-yearly rent, £7 8s.

Weighted with £175, for improvements consisting of fencing and grassing. This sum is payable in cash.

Altitude, 310 ft. to 770 ft. above sea-level. Undulating to hilly country; about 80 acres ordinary mixed forest, balance fern and scrub land and old kauri workings, with patches of rough feed. Soil fair clay and pipe-clay on sandstone formation; well watered by streams. Distant a mile and a quarter from Hukerenui Railway-station by formed cart road.

Land in Canterbury Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Christchurch, 29th June, 1932.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, on Monday, 8th August, 1932, at 2.30 p.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

Rangiora County.—Mairaki Survey District.

RESERVE 1737, Block VII: Area, 50 acres 3 roods 4 perches. Upset price, £200.

Situated on unformed road about three miles and a half from Cust by good metalled road to within 30 chains of the section. Comprises fairly steep downs broken by gullies; altitude to about 450 ft. All in old run-out pasture, brown-top, and twitch, a part being badly overgrown with gorse. Soil is clay loam and clay formation, and section is watered by springs and gully. Suitable for sheep grazing, fattening, and for root and green crops.
