Land proclaimed as a Street in the Borough of New Plymouth.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in the Borough of New Plymouth described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a street: 8·3 perches.

Being Lot 8, D.P. 5339, being part Section 62, Grey District.

Situated in Block V, Paritutu Survey District (Borough of New Plymouth).

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84119, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of June, 1932.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Provisional State Forest No. 1715, set apart by Proclamation dated the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and gazetted on the seventeenth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being portion of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1715, Blocks II and III, Brunner Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/98/64, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of June, 1932.

Revocation of Order in Council relating to Export Licenses.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 29th day of June, 1932.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Customs Act, 1913, and the Board of Trade Act, 1919, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the Order in Council relating to export licenses made under the authority of the said Acts on the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same date, shall not apply to any goods placed on board an exporting ship on or after the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, but otherwise shall remain in full force and effect.

Amending Regulations relating to National Research Scholarships under the Scientific and Industrial Research Act, 1926.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power conferred upon him by section twelve of the Scientific and Industrial Research Act, 1926, and acting on the advice of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby make the regulation hereinafter set forth in addition to and in amendment of the National Research Scholarship Regulations, 1927 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”), made under the said Act on the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the Gazette on the tenth day of the same month, at page 401.

REGULATION.

  1. This regulation may be cited as the National Research Scholarship Regulations, 1927, Amendment No. 2.

  2. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in clause (1) of Regulation 4 of the principal regulations, any scholarship granted under such regulations in the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1933, shall be of the value of £100 per annum, to be paid by equal quarterly instalments.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 25th day of June, 1932.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and one of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

Ernest Cecil Gage,

being a person holding the office of Superintending Engineer, General Post Office, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

As witness my hand this 23rd day of June, 1932.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

Archibald Richard King,

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, at Owango, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
