SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Otamatea County, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 10 perches, more or less, and being Section 14, Block V, Matakohé Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 19472, and deposited, under No. 2570, in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan, 20733.)

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 9th day of June, 1932.

Land temporarily reserved in the Otago Land District for Recreation Purposes.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve the land in the Otago Land District, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for recreation purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 33 acres 2 roods 14 perches, more or less, being Sections 49 and 50, Town of Brighton View Extension No. 2, and Section 82, Block VIII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 59, Town of Brighton View Extension No. 2, and bounded towards the north-east by Crown land, 200 links; towards the south-east by the Pacific Ocean, 10260 links; towards the north-west by the Brighton–Green Island Road, 190 links; towards the north-east by Allotment 1a, Land Transfer plan 2228, being a subdivision of Section 59, Block I, Otokia Survey District, 99 links; towards the north-west by Allotments 1a, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of said Land Transfer plan 2228, 700·2 links; towards the south-west by aforesaid Allotment 6, 72·42 links; towards the north-west by the Brighton–Green Island Road, 330·91 links; towards the north-east by Section 1, Town of Brighton View Extension No. 2, 150 links; towards the north-west by Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 of the aforesaid town, and Section 3, Block XVI, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, 1117·1 links; towards the south-west by Section 6 of the aforesaid town, 150·5 links; towards the north-west by the Brighton–Green Island Road, 350·3 links; towards the north-east by Section 7 of the aforesaid town, 107·6 links; towards the north-west by Sections 7 to 48 of the aforesaid town, and the abutials of two public roads, 4820·25 links; towards the south-west by said Section 48, 321·9 links; towards the north-west by the Brighton–Green Island Road 1216·1 links; towards the north-east by Section 51 of the aforesaid town, 200 links; and towards the north-west by Sections 51 to 60 of the aforesaid town, 960 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1460, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Member of Island Council of Mangaia (Cook Islands) appointed.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

PURSUANT to the authority vested in me by section sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and by an Order in Council of the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, establishing (inter alia) an Island Council for the Island of Mangaia in the Cook Islands, and determining the constitution thereof, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby nominate and appoint

Tamaine Ngariu, of the District of Tamarua,

to be a member of the said Island Council of Mangaia, in lieu of Tangi-metua (deceased), to hold office during my pleasure as from the date hereof.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, this 11th day of June, 1932.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section two of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

Edward Charles Alexander,
Ernest George Cooper,
James Mitchell Hale, and
Ernest Grant

to be officers for the purposes of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of June, 1932.

Appointing Members of the Mokau Harbour Board.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS it is provided by the twenty-eighth section of the Harbours Act, 1923, that, if any constituent district or combined district fails at any election to elect the required number of representatives, the Governor-General may, by Warrant under his hand, appoint such qualified persons as he thinks fit to be the representatives of that district in lieu of those who ought to have been elected; and the persons so appointed shall hold office in all respects as if they had been duly elected in conformity with the said Act:

And whereas it is provided by the said Act that three members of the Mokau Harbour Board shall be elected by the electors of the Mokau Subdivision of the Mokau Harbour District; two members by the electors of the Tongaporutu Subdivision of the Harbour District; and two members by
