A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Mangawhero Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:—

A. B. P. Being Portion of
2 1 8·8 Puehurangi Block; coloured blue.
0 1 10·0 Puehurangi Block; coloured yellow.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 acres 0 roods 29 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Puehurangi Block; coloured green.

All situated in Block IX, Mangawhero Survey District. (S.O. 2687.)

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81747, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of June, 1932.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest set apart by Proclamation dated the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and gazetted on the third day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 203 acres 0 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Section 6, Block XII, Rimu Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by a Provisional State Forest, 487·6 links; towards the east generally by a public road, 5025·9 links; towards the south-east by Section 10, Block XIII, 4351·8 links; towards the south-west by Sections 4 and 5, Block XII, 3850 links; and towards the north-west by a Provisional State Forest, 6617·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/1096A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of June, 1932.

Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—RETARUKE SURVEY DISTRICT.

SECTION 28, Block III: Area, 34 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of June, 1932.

Land set apart as a Public Domain under the Wanganui River Trust Act, 1891.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the ninth section of the Wanganui River Trust Act, 1891, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart as a public domain, to be dealt with and administered in the manner described in the said ninth section of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

SECTIONS 1 and 3, Block III, Waipakura Survey District, and Section 1, Block XV, Tauakira Survey District: Area, 1,194 acres 1 rood 13 perches, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of June, 1932.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid off through Puahue No. 2 Section 12, and Maungatautari No. 5B Section 2, Block VIII, Puniu Survey District, Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of sections forty-nine, fifty, and fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
