TUAKAU TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by
the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and amendments
thereof, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling,
the Tuakau Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the instalments of
principal and interest and other charges on the Tuakau Bridge
Loan, 1932, of £850 (eight hundred and fifty pounds), autho-
rized to be raised by the Tuakau Town Board under the above-
mentioned Act, and by virtue of a Warrant dated the 13th
day of June, 1931, issued by His Excellency the Governor-
General under the provisions of section 135 of the Public
Works Act, 1928, for the purpose of paying the Board’s
share of the cost of the erection of a bridge and approaches
thereto over the Waikato River near Tuakau, for the benefit
of the Tuakau Town District, and with the sanction of His
Excellency the Governor-General in Council had, obtained,
and gazetted, the said Tuakau Town Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate of one-twelfth of a penny (1/12d.) in the
pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value)
of all rateable property in the Tuakau Town District, and
that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of the said loan, and shall be payable
yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during
the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty-six
and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

TAKE notice that the Partnership existing between
A. F. G. COGLE and H. W. G. COGLE, trading under
the name of “Cogle Bros.,” Hairdressers and Tobacconists,
160 Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland, has been dissolved as
from the 23rd April, 1932, and that the business is being
carried on by H. W. G. Cogle at the same address.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Acts, and in the matter of
MUSCHAMP, NICOLL, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by an extraordinary resolu-
tion passed by the said company on the 22nd day of
April, 1932, it was resolved that the said company, being
unable to carry on business by reason of its liabilities, be
wound up voluntarily; and that HAROLD SINCLAIR MUSCHAMP
be appointed Liquidator.

thereto, and in the matter of SAVOURIES LTD. (in
voluntary liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company
is in voluntary liquidation, and that all persons or
companies having claims against the company are required
to send full particulars to me on or before the 31st day of
May, 1932, otherwise they may be excluded from participation
in any distribution of the assets.

CENTRAL ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and all other Acts and
powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Central Electric-
power Board hereby resolves as follows:—

“That for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Central
Electric-power Board’s Special Loan of £40,000, 1932, autho-
rized to be raised by the Board under the above-mentioned
Acts, for the purpose of constructing and erecting trans-
mission-lines, transformer-stations, and all other fittings and
appliances for conveying, transmitting, and distributing elec-
tricity in the special rating area as hereinafter defined, including
the purchase of all necessary land, material, plant, and tools,
and all payments for labour, engineer’s fees, plans, and super-
vision, and for compensation to owners of property in respect
of such works, the said Board hereby makes and levies a
special rate of one-ninth of a penny (1/9d.) in the pound
sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital
value) of all rateable property in the special rating area,
comprising all those portions of the Central Electric-power
District as defined by Orders in Council appearing in the
New Zealand Gazette on the 8th day of July, 1920, 7th day
of September, 1922, 6th day of March, 1924, 7th day of
August, 1924, 8th day of January, 1925, 3rd day of December,
1925, and 8th day of September, 1927, being the whole of the
Central Electric-power District with the exception of that
portion of the County of Raglan included in the said district
by Order in Council appearing in the New Zealand Gazette
on 27th day of March, 1930, and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of twenty-six (26) years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

WE certify that the above is a correct copy of resolution passed
at a duly convened meeting of the Central Electric-power
Board held on the 9th day of March, 1932.

PHOENIX SERVICE STATION, LIMITED (PRIVATE
COMPANY).

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of members
of the above-named company held at Wellington on
the 13th May, 1932, the following resolution was passed and
signed by all members of the company:—

Resolved: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction
of the shareholders that the company cannot, by reason of
its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable
to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be
wound up voluntarily; and that McKAY & LITTLE be and they
are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such
winding-up.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the
matter of P. L. BRADY & COY., LTD. (in liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolu-
tion was duly passed on the thirteenth day of May,
1932:—

Resolved, this thirteenth day of May, 1932, by way of
special resolution: “That the company be wound up
voluntarily, and that THOMAS LINDSAY WARD, of Wellington,
Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator
for the purposes of such winding-up; and that the re-
numeration of the Liquidator be a sum not exceeding the
standard scale rates for liquidations adopted by the N.Z.
Society of Accountants.”

All persons, firms, or corporations having claims against
the above company are required on or before the fifth day of
June, 1932, to send their names and addresses and particulars
of their debts and claims to the said Liquidator, at 102
Featherston Street, Wellington, and, if so required by notice
in writing from him, are personally or by their solicitors to
come in and prove such debts or claims at such times and
places as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof
they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made
before such debts or claims are proved.
