ERRATUM.—In the Schedule to the Proclamation dated
the 15th day of March, 1932, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette
, No. 19, of the 17th day of the same month, at
page 538, taking land for sewerage purposes in the Borough
of Rotorua, omit the words “Suburbs of Rotorua” throughout.
(P.W. 48/219).

Amending Regulations under the Hunter Gift for the Settlement
of Discharged Soldiers Act, 1921.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of
May, 1932.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by the Hunter Gift for the Settlement of Discharged
Soldiers Act, 1921, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby amend, in the manner set forth in the Schedule
hereto, the regulations under the said Act (hereinafter referred
to as “the said regulations”) made on the sixteenth day
of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and
published in the Gazette of the nineteenth day of the same
month at page 2230.

SCHEDULE.

CLAUSE 9 of the said regulations is hereby amended by deleting
from the definition of “Orphan child” all the words “but
does not include any child in respect of whom a pension out
of public moneys is payable under the Pensions Act, 1920,
or the War Pensions Act, 1915, or other enactment.”

Variation of Order in Council prohibiting Alienation of certain
Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of
May, 1932.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section one hundred and
sixty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, that any
Order in Council made thereunder may at any time be varied
or revoked :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and
authority vested in him, doth hereby vary an Order in Council
made under the said section one hundred and sixty-seven,
dated the fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-two, regarding Hauturu B 2 Section 2A 1A and other
blocks, set out in the Schedule to such Order in Council, by
excluding and excepting from prohibition of alienation the
land set out in the Schedule hereto.
