ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded on
the north-east, south-east, and south-west by the county
boundary, and on the north-west by the Ruamahanga River
from its confluence with the Waiohine River to its confluence
with the Taueru River.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May,
1932.

Amending Regulations under the Weights and Measures Act,
1925.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
April, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
H IS Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Weights
and Measures Act, 1925, doth hereby make the following
regulations for the purpose of the said Act.
REGULATIONS.

THESE regulations may be cited as the Weights and Measures
Regulations, 1926, Amendment No. 3. -
These regulations shall be read together with and be
deemed to form part of the Weights and Measures Regula-
tions, 1926 (hereinafter called “ the principal regulations ”). -
Regulation 2 of Part VII of the principal regulations is
hereby amended by inserting, after the words “ other than ”,
the term “ ½ cwt. ”

Additional Regulations under the Land and Income Tax Act,
1923, and Amendments.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him
by section one hundred and seventy-two of the Land and
Income Tax Act, 1923 (hereinafter referred to as “ the said
Act ”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
make the following additional regulations for the purposes of
the said Act and the amendments thereof.
R E G U L A T I O N S.

ANNUAL returns of income shall be made under section 9
of the said Act by all companies and persons in business
whether for the whole or part of the income year, and also
by all persons in receipt of income from salary, wages, interest,
rent, annuity, or other annual payments, where such income
in conjunction with income from free-of-tax Government
securities, company debentures issued free of tax, and from
dividends or other profits derived from shares or other rights
of membership in companies exceeds £200 per annum, whether
such companies or persons are taxpayers or not, and shall
be in the form No. 3 as prescribed in the regulations made
under the said Act on the 14th day of April, 1930, or to the
effect thereof. -
Regulation 6 of the regulations made under the said Act
on the 14th day of November, 1923, is hereby revoked. -
Persons and companies in receipt of income which is
assessable under section 4 (1) (a) of the Land and Income
Tax Amendment Act, 1930, as amended by section 4 of the
Land and Income Tax Amendment Act, 1931, shall render
returns of such income on Part D of form No. 3 as set out
in the Schedule to the regulations made under the said Act
on the 14th day of April, 1930. -
Persons and companies required to render returns under
the provisions of Regulation 3 hereof shall also complete such
other portions of the said form No. 3 as may in any case
be applicable. -
Form No. 5 as prescribed in the Schedule to the regula-
tions made under the said Act on the 31st day of March, 1931,
is hereby revoked, and the form No. 5 in the Schedule hereto
is hereby substituted in lieu thereof. -
All references in the regulations made under the said
Act on the 14th day of November, 1923, to form No. 5 shall
be deemed to be references to form No. 5 in the Schedule
hereto.

NOTICE TO MAKE RETURNS OF INCOME UNDER THE LAND AND
INCOME TAX ACT, 1923, AND AMENDMENTS.

Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of the above Act
and the regulations made thereunder, every person and
company, whether a taxpayer or not, having derived income
within the meaning of the said Act during the year ending
31st March, 19 , from any source or by any means which is
made the subject of taxation under the said Act or any amend-
ment thereof, is hereby required to make and furnish to me,
in the prescribed form, returns of such income on or before
the day of , 19 .
Returns of income are required to be furnished by all
companies which, and persons who, whether for the whole
or part of the income year, were in business, or in receipt of
profits or gains derived from the use or occupation of lands
