Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve at New Plymouth to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 26·12 perches and 2·8 perches.

Portions of Railway Reserve (parts of part 2, Purakau N.R. 16), New Plymouth Town Belt.

Block V, Paritutu Survey District (Borough of New Plymouth). (S.O. 7112.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked I.O. 1886, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of April, 1932.

Crown Land set apart for the Development of Water-power (Waikaremoana Scheme) in Block IV, Waiau Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water-power (Waikaremoana Scheme); and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of Crown land set apart:—

0 0 14·2 { Closed roads, adjoining or passing through Lot 1, P.W. plan 1285, being part Section 5
2 2 6·3 } (being land taken for the development of water-power, Waikaremoana Scheme).

0 0 7·2 { Closed roads, adjoining or passing through Lot 1, P.W. plan 1002, being part Section 5
4 3 25·4 } (being land taken for the development of water-power, Waikaremoana Scheme).

Situated in Block IV, Waiau Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1359, brown.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81476, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1932.
