the Wairoa Traffic Bridge, the said Wairoa Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-sixty-fourths
of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable
property (on the basis of the unimproved value) within the
Borough of Wairoa, and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
calculated from the date on which such interest first com-
mences to accrue for any portion of the loan-moneys, and
shall be payable on the first day of August in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, calculated from the
date aforesaid, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses
of the Borough of Wairoa was hereunto affixed pursuant to a
resolution in that behalf in the presence of—

unable to carry on business, by reason of its liabilities, be

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution
was duly passed, as a special resolution, on the 18th
April, 1932, in accordance with, and in manner provided by,
subsection (6), section 168, of the Companies Act :—
"That, whereas all the company's assets were seized and
sold under and by virtue of debentures issued to the Bank
of New Zealand to secure an overdraft, it is proved to the
satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its
liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to
wind up the company voluntarily; that Arthur Douglas
Ford, of Christchurch, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator
for the purpose of such winding-up."
