In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of A. O. RICE LTD. (a private company) (in liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed in accordance with section 168 (6) of the Companies Act, 1908, on the 23rd day of March, 1932:
"That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that THOMAS GORDON REYNOLDS, of Hamilton, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up; and that the remuneration of the Liquidator shall be in accordance with the scale laid down by the New Zealand Society of Accountants."

Advertisement of Cancelling.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this sixth day of April, 1932, cancelled the registry of Oreti Lodge No. 23, of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of New Zealand Friendly Society (Register No. 146/114), held at Makarewa, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist. 9

NEW ZEALAND INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS.
In accordance with section 29 of the Institute's Regulations the undermentioned resolution, passed by the Council of the Institute at a meeting held on the 6th of April, 1932, is gazetted:
"That, in the opinion of the Council, Mr. Herbert Anderson Jones has been guilty of the retention of trust monies lodged in his care, and that the charge made against him is substantiated, and that the said Herbert Anderson Jones be expelled from membership of the Institute."
