Lands in North Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 30th March, 1932.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 2.30 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, 4th May, 1932, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TITIRANGI PARISH, EDEN COUNTY.—TOWN LAND.
Allotment 191: Area, 31·22 perches. Upset price, £300.
Allotment 192: Area, 1 rood 18·74 perches. Upset price, £300.
Allotment 193: Area, 31·24 perches. Upset price, £300.
Situated on Gladstone Road, Mount Albert, about three minutes' walk from the Mount Albert Railway-station, trams, and shopping-centre.
Sections are level and high above the surrounding country. They provide the only remaining vacant sections towards the Mount Albert end of Gladstone Road.

Settlement Land in Hawke's Bay Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Napier, 30th March, 1932.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, 10th May, 1932.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, on Thursday, 12th May, 1932, at 10 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
Hawke's Bay County.—Patoka Survey District.—Waihau Settlement.
Section 2, Block XI: Area, 963 acres. Capital value, £2,550. Half-yearly rent, £63 15s.
Weighted with £1,852, for improvements consisting of dwelling and outbuildings, wool-shed, cow-byré, harness-room, chaff-house, car-shed, yards, garden, about 572 chains of fencing (approximate), 50 acres felled and burned, and 200 acres burned and surface-sown.
This sum is payable in cash or by a cash deposit of £52; of the balance, £975 is to be payable by forty-two half-yearly instalments of £38 0s. 6d., the remaining £825 to be secured by a mortgage to the State Advances Superintendent—term 30 years, interest 6 per cent.
Situated on the Waihau Settlement Road, six miles from the Patoka Post-office, and adjoining the Waihau School; thirty miles from Napier Railway-station, and thirty-five miles from Heretaunga Dairy Factory and Stortford Lodge Saleyards (Hastings).
Access by good metalled road, watered by permanent streams and springs, the soil being pumiceous loam resting on clay formation. Altitude 850 ft. to 1,000 ft. above sea-level; easy hill country with ploughable areas about homestead. Subdivided into nine paddocks; principally suitable for sheep-farming.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Buller County.—Mokihinui Survey District.
SECTION 41, Block XV: Area, 6 acres 0 roods 15 perches. Capital value, £18. Half-yearly rent, 7s. 3d.
Loaded with £103, for improvements consisting of stumping, fencing, grassing, and a four-roomed cottage.
Situated in Mokihinui Village, about one mile from Seddonville by formed road. Land fair quality, mostly flat.

THIRD-CLASS LAND.
Inangahua County.—Mawheraiti Survey District.
Section 3, Block IV: Area, 168 acres 1 rood 10 perches. Capital value, £50. Half-yearly rent, £1.
Situated about seven miles from Reefton on the main Greymouth Road and Railway-line, and about four miles and a half from Mawheraiti Post-office. Access is from the Mai Mai Railway-station on frontage of section. The section comprises river flat and poor terrace land. The land on the river flat is bush-clad and of fair quality, but the terrace land is mostly semi-open land with poor clayey soil resting on gravel. Altitude 550 ft. to 600 ft.

Inangahua County.—Reefton Survey District.
Sections 62 and 65, Block X: Area, 74 acres 3 roods 16 perches. Capital value, £37. Half-yearly rent, 14s. 10d.
The access to these sections is by five miles of metalled road from Reefton Railway-station. Mostly flat land a little broken in places. Very little bush is left on the area. The bush has been felled or burnt on most of the area, and it is now in fern and blackberry. The soil is of a fair quality, resting on sandstone formation. The forest is medium, comprising mixed birch with a medium undergrowth of mainly birch scrub. The section is well watered by creek and river. About 690 ft. above sea-level. The general quality of the section is fair. There are no improvements.

Buller County.—Steeoples Survey District.
Section 7, Block 1: Area, 167 acres 0 roods 23 perches. Capital value, £42. Half-yearly rent, 16s. 10d.
Weighted with £167 10s., in favour of the State Advances Superintendent, for improvements comprising felling and grassing, fencing, a dwellinghouse, and outbuildings.
Situated at Cape Foulwind, about seven miles and a half from Westport by formed and metalled road. The area is undulating and flat, broken with gullies. There is very little bush, and the soil is of a poor clayey nature, semi pakihi resting on gravels. Poorly watered. Altitude 150 ft. above sea-level.

Murchison County.—Maruia Survey District.
(Exempt from the payment of rent for four years.)
Section 4, and part 3, Block XV: Area, 1,667 acres. Capital value, £250. Half-yearly rent, £5.
Loaded with £100, for improvements comprising 390 acres felling and grassing, in favour of the State Advances Superintendent. This sum is payable in cash, or may remain on mortgage for thirty years, with interest at the rate of 6 per cent. per annum.
Situated in the mid Maruia Valley, twenty-one miles from Murchison, twenty miles by metalled road and one mile by bridle track. The section comprises very small flats along the creek, balance hillside. Soil fair along creek, poor on hills, resting on granite. Well watered. Altitude 700 ft. to 1,200 ft. Improvements comprise 390 acres felled and grassed.
