of the sum of ten shillings (10s.) each; and the Secretary of the Feilding and District Acclimatization Society, or any person authorized by such Secretary in that behalf, is hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.

The number of such imported game and native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day shall not exceed twenty-five head of imported game and twenty-five head in all of grey duck and black swan: Provided that not more than ten head of grey duck may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day.

Shooting may begin not earlier than one hour before sunrise and must cease not later than one hour after sunset on each and every day during the open season.

No live birds of any species shall be used as decoys, nor shall more than twenty-five artificial decoys be used at any one time (whether by one or several persons) on any particular water within an area of less than 100 yards square.

No person shall use or cause to be used any motor-vehicle for the purpose of taking or killing imported game or native game: Provided that this condition shall not be so construed as to prohibit the use of any motor-vehicle for the purpose of travelling either generally or to or from a rendezvous.

Any person committing a breach of any of these conditions is liable, on conviction, to a fine of £20.

Open Season for Imported Game and Native Game, License Fees, &c., Grey District Acclimatization District.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, Adam Hamilton, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the period from the 2nd day of May to the 31st day of July, 1932 (both days inclusive), to be an open season in the Grey District Acclimatization District, as described in New Zealand Gazette No 17, of 12th March, 1925, at page 750, for the taking or killing of the following imported game and native game—viz., hares, grey duck, and black swan—subject to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.

LICENSES to take or kill such imported game only within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of ten shillings (10s.) each; and licenses to take or kill such native game only within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of ten shillings (10s.) each; and the Chief Postmaster at Greymouth and the Postmasters at Ahaura, Blackball, Brunner, Moana, Nelson Creek, Ngahere, Otira, Roa, Runanga, Stillwater, Totara Flat, and Waiuta are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22, I, Adam Hamilton, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the period from the 2nd day of May to the 30th day of June, 1932 (both days inclusive), to be an open season in the Hawke's Bay Acclimatization District, as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 17, of 12th March, 1925, at page 750, for the taking or killing of the following imported game and native game—viz., cock pheasants, Californian quail, Australian quail, mallard duck, grey duck, widgeon, and black swan; and the period from the 2nd day of January to the 28th day of February, 1933 (both days inclusive), to be an open season in the said district for the taking or killing of the following native game—viz., godwits—subject to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.

LICENSES to take or kill such imported game and native game, within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings (20s.) each, and licenses to take or kill the following native game only—viz., godwits—will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of ten shillings (10s.) each; and the Secretary of the Hawke's Bay Acclimatization Society, or any person authorized by such Secretary in that behalf, is hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.

The number of such imported game and native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day shall not exceed five cock pheasants, five mallard duck, and twenty-five head in all of grey duck, widgeon, and black swan: Provided that not more than twenty head of grey duck may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day.
