Education Reserve in the North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 6th April, 1932, at 2 o’clock p.m., under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Rodney County.—Oruawharo Parish.

Lot 1 of Allotment 188: Area, 221 acres 0 roods 20 perches. Upset annual rental, £8 5s.

Weighted with £15, for improvements consisting of half-share in 60 chains of fencing (three and four wire) in poor repair.

Section is situated about one mile and a half from Te Hana on a formed clay road. About half the section is easy undulating and the balance is undulating to steep broken hills in fern and manuka scrub. About three-quarters of the property is ploughable. Soil is of clay, more or less of poor quality, resting on sandstone, watered by a running stream on the south boundary. Elevation, 100 ft. to 250 ft. above sea-level. General quality is fair.
