The Western Side of Portion of Randwick Road in the Borough of Lower Hutt exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of February, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Lower Hutt Borough Council on the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, viz. :
“That the Lower Hutt Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Lower Hutt, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the western side of Randwick Road along the frontage of part Section 4, Pitt Settlement, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District”; such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
THE western side of all that portion of street in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Lower Hutt, known as Randwick Road, fronting part Section 4, Pitt Settlement, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83305, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Variation of an Order in Council prohibiting Alienation of certain Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of February, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is enacted by section one hundred and sixty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, that any Order in Council made thereunder may at any time be varied or revoked :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in him, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby vary an Order in Council made under section one hundred and thirty-two of the Native Land Act, 1909, dated the seventeenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and extended by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, regarding Te Akau and other blocks set out in the Schedule to such Order in Council, by excluding and excepting from prohibition of alienation the land set out in the Schedule hereto.

Education Endowment Lands in Taipa Parish and Village of Taipa, North Auckland Land District, set apart as a Site for a Public School.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section thirty-three of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, on the recommendation of the Land Board of the district in which are situated any reserves or endowments vested in the Crown by or in pursuance of section two of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1910, or of section twenty-two of the first-mentioned Act, set apart as sites for public schools, secondary schools, or technical schools any part of such reserves or endowments ;
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the education endowment lands described in the Schedule hereto should be set apart as a site for a public school, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby set apart the education endowment lands described in the Schedule hereto as a site for a public school (Taipa).

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Mangonui County, situate in Block IV, Mangonui Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 10 perches, more or less, being Allotment 28, Taipa Parish, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 629, folio 181, registered at the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being vested in His Majesty the King for the purposes of primary and secondary education ; As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/550a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan 11581.)
Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District, Mangonui County, situate in Block IV, Mangonui Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 1 perch, more or less, being Lot 2 of Section 2, Village of Taipa, and being the said lot permanently set aside for educational purposes and apportioned for primary education by notice published in New Zealand Gazette, 1878, No. 126, page 1772. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/550b, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan 11581.)

PURSUANT to the authority vested in me by section sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and by an Order in Council of the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, providing for the constitution of Island Councils in the Cook Islands, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the appointment of the present members of the Island Council of Niue, and in lieu thereof do hereby nominate and appoint the following persons as members of the said Island Council of Niue, to hold office during my pleasure, that is to say :—
