Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE No. 4236 (formerly Rural Section No. 3278), Blocks III and IV, Nimrod Survey District: Area, 84 acres, more or less.
Also Reserve No. 4237 (formerly Rural Section No. 4944), Block III, Nimrod Survey District: Area, 20 acres, more or less.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19295A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Reserve No. 4307 (formerly Rural Section No. 9146), Block XI, Opawa Survey District: Area, 30 acres, more or less.
Also Reserve No. 4308 (formerly Rural Section No. 9147), Block XI, Opawa Survey District: Area, 20 acres, more or less.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19295B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of February, 1932.

Change of Name of Southern Portion of Murray’s Bay (known as “Little Murray’s Bay”) to “Mairangi Bay,” County of Waitemata.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is considered expedient that the name of the locality comprising the southern portion of “Murray’s Bay” (known as “Little Murray’s Bay”), in the County of Waitemata, should be changed to “Mairangi Bay”:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality comprising the southern portion of “Murray’s Bay” (known as “Little Murray’s Bay”), in the County of Waitemata, shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Mairangi Bay,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of October, 1931.

Abolishing Mangawara River District, Counties of Waikato and Piako.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by the Taupiri Drainage and River District Act, 1929, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the Mangawara River District as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and dissolve the Board thereof.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of March, 1932.

Altering the Route of a Main Highway in the No. 13 Highway District, Waipara County.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of February, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth, from the date of gazetting of this Order in Council, declare that the portion of main highway described in the First Schedule hereto shall cease to be a main highway, and doth further declare that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto shall become part of a main highway within the meaning and for the purposes of the Main Highways Act, 1922.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
MOTUNAU–MOTUNAU BEACH: All that road or portion of road in the Waipara County commencing at the road junction in Section 9, Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey District, and proceeding generally in a northerly and south-easterly direction, and terminating near the mouth of the Motunau River in Section 7545, Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey District, being a distance of 95 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83598, and thereon coloured blue.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
MOTUNAU–MOTUNAU BEACH: All that road or portion of road in the Waipara County commencing at the road junction in Section 9, Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey District, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction, and terminating near the mouth of the Motunau River in Section 10, Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey District, being a distance of 36 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83598, and thereon coloured red.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington.

WHEREAS, by the Land Transfer Act, 1915, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, make regulations prescribing and altering the fees which may be taken by Registrars:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him as aforesaid and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent
