The North-eastern Side of Portion of a Road in the County of Waimea exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of February, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waimea County Council on the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, viz. :—
“That the Waimea County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads within the Waimea County, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-east side of the road fronting part Section 2, Block IX, Waimea Survey District, for a distance of 355·3 links in a north-westerly direction from the railway-line, as shown on plan prepared by C. M. Hoult, Licensed Surveyor, and coloured red thereon ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.
SCHEDULE.
THE north-eastern side of all that portion of road situated in the Nelson Land District, County of Waimea, fronting parts Section 2, “Waimea South,” Block IX, Waimea Survey District. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83554, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Repatriation Act, 1918 (Section 15), and the Finance Act, 1919 (Section 18).—Suspending the Provisions of all Awards and Industrial Agreements under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and the Provisions of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, and the Factories Act, 1921–22, in so far as they prevent or restrict the Training and Employment of Discharged Soldiers in certain Industries.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section eighteen of the Finance Act, 1919, and to all other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby suspend the provisions of all awards and industrial agreements prescribing the conditions of employment of under-rate workers and apprentices under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and also the provisions of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, and the Factories Act, 1921–22, and their amendments, in so far as those awards, industrial agreements, and Acts prevent or restrict the employment and training of discharged soldiers pursuant to the Disabled Soldiers’ Civil Re-establishment Act, 1930, and the regulations made under that Act on the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in the Gazette on the ninth day of the same month at page 2076.

The South-eastern and South-western Sides of Portions of Brownville Crescent, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the twenty-fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, viz. :—
“That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to portions of the south-eastern and the south-western sides of Brownville Crescent, in the said City of Dunedin, where such portions of street abut on Lot 4, Block II, McLennan’s Subdivision, as the said portions of street are more particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto, and are thereon coloured brown and edged with red to their centre-lines ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern and south-western sides of the portions of Brownville Crescent (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-eastern and south-western sides of all those portions of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Brownville Crescent, fronting Lot 4, Block II, McLennan’s Subdivision. As the said portions of street are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83555, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Vesting the Management of the Jetty and Shed at Karitane, Waikouaiti River, in Charles John Johnston, Leonard Wilson, and James Heath, as Trustees for the Inhabitants of the District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of February, 1932.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and eighty-six of the Harbours Act, 1923 (hereinafter called the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General in Council may vest the management of any wharf, the property of His Majesty the King, in any person upon such terms and conditions as the Governor-General in Council thinks fit:
And whereas it is thought advisable to vest in Charles John Johnston, Fisherman, Leonard Wilson, Fisherman, James Heath, Fisherman, all of Karitane, as Trustees for the inhabitants of the district (hereinafter referred to as “the Trustees”), the management of the jetty and shed which are erected on the foreshore at Karitane, Waikouaiti River, and which are shown on plan marked M.D. 2593, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby vest the management of the said jetty and shed in the Trustees, subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
