Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1931.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council gazetted, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924;
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that portion of the Uretiti Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that portion of the Uretiti Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei County, situate in Block XIV, Ruakaka Survey District, containing by admeasurement 75 acres 1 rood 8 perches, more or less, being portion of the Uretiti Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1900, No. 23, page 592, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point, being the south-eastern corner of Allotment 408, Ruakaka Parish; thence on the west by Allotment 408 aforesaid, bearing 10° 21' distance 1954-1 links to Section 8, Block XIV, Ruakaka Survey District; thence on the north by Section 8 aforesaid, bearing 86° 37' distance 3484-0 links to a public road; thence on the east by that road, bearing 171° 41' distance 2062-0 links; and on the south by another portion of the Uretiti Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1900, No. 23, page 592 aforesaid, bearing 268° 47' distance 4128-4 links, to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L and S. 6/4/6b, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Setting apart Crown Land under Section 161 of the Land Act, 1924.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-one of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for disposal under the section of the Act mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 32, Block VII, Opoe Survey District: Area, 14 acres 3 roods 38 perches.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 14th day of December, 1931.

Declaring Road-lines intersecting Land in Reporoa Settlement, Auckland Land District, to be closed, and the Land comprised therein to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS a report has been received from the Surveyor-General, from which it appears that the roads described in the Schedule hereto are unformed and unused, and that the said roads are adjacent to or intersect land acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and are not suitable to the subdivision of such land:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and six of the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby close the roads hereinafter described; and I do hereby declare that the land comprised in the said roads shall thereupon become subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
