that lot to the Frankton-Rotorua railway at Eureka Station; thence across the said railway, and by the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4300, to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lots 8, 7, 6, 5, D.P. 10710; thence by a right line to that boundary, and by that boundary and a production thereof to the Ruakura-Cambridge Railway; thence by that railway to and across the Frankton-Rotorua railway; thence by the road forming the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of the land on D.P. 11557 to the south-eastern corner of Lot 59, D.P. 12021; thence by the north-eastern boundary of Lot 59 aforesaid, and a right line to the most southerly corner of Lot 4 on D.P. 11006; thence by the south-western boundaries of Lots 4 and 9 on D.P. 11006, the north-western boundary of Lot .9 aforesaid, the south-western and north-western boundaries of Lot 11 on D.P. 11006, across a road, and by the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 1; D.P. 18276, the northern boundary of Lot 2 on the same plan, the southern and western boundaries of Lot 2 on D.P. 3514, to the Ruakura-Gordonton Road; thence by that road to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 3514; thence by a right line to the Ruakura-Gordonton Road at the southernmost corner of Allotment 140, Komakorau Parish, and by the Ruakura-Gordonton Road and the Taupiri-Gordonton Road to the Taupiri-Orini Road ; thence by that road to and across the Komakorau Stream to the point of commencement.

All that land bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the Taupiri-Gordonton Road by the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 10101; thence by that road and the Gordonton-Ruakura Road to the southernmost corner of Allotment 140, Komakorau Parish; thence by a right line to the aforesaid road at the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 3514, and again by that road to the Ruakura-Taupiri Road; thence by that road forming the generally south-western boundaries Lots 5, 4, and 3, deposited plan 16097, Lot 1, deposited plan 12444, and Lot 2, deposited plan 16097, Allotments 80, 79, 78, 77, Parish of Kirikiriroa, passing through Lot 1, D.P. 7516, and again forming the generally south-western boundaries of Lots 1A and 3, D.P. 7516, Lots 5, 6, 2, and 1, D.P. 13636, Lots 5, 4, 3, 2, D.P. 7136, Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 7961, and Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, D.P. 6931, to and across a road, and by that road to the south-western corner of Allotment 231, Parish of Komakorau ; thence by the western boundary of Allotments 231 aforesaid, the southern and western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 13645, the western boundary of Lot 1 on deposited plan 10101, to the point of commencement.

Order in Council relating to the Application of the Finance Act, 1931, amended.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of December, 1931.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of the Finance Act, 1931, and of all other powers and authorities him hereunto enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion—
(1) Doth hereby amend the Order in Council made on the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the twenty-third day of the same month at page 1045, relating to the application of the Finance Act, 1931, to the Cook Islands Public Service and to the Samoan Public Service by deleting from clause two thereof the words “such persons as are not for the time being deemed to be ‘Europeans’ within the meaning of the Samoa Act, 1921, and also excluding”:
(2) Doth hereby accordingly apply Part I of the said Act to all persons employed in the Samoan Public Service, including such persons as are not for the time being deemed to be Europeans within the meaning of the Samoa Act, 1921; excluding, however, any person of the Chinese race employed or deemed to be employed in the said service :
(3) Doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall come into operation on the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.
