hereby revoke the reservation for recreation purposes over the
land described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare
that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land
available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, situated in Block
XV, Wai-iti Survey District, containing 3 acres 0 roods 26
perches, more or less, and being part of the land conveyed to
the Superintendent of the Province of Nelson as part of Section
No. 156 of Waimea South Original District, which said Section
No. 156 was part of the land originally Crown granted as
Section No. X of Waimea South Original District: Bounded
towards the north-west by a road, 194·6 links; towards the
north-east by Section 155, 827 links; towards the south-east
by the Nelson-Murchison Railway, 709 links; and towards
the west by a road, 687·6 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5443, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Revoking the Vesting of Control of Portion of the Hamner
Thermal-springs Reserve, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day
of December, 1931.

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the third day
of March, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and
published in the Gazette of the twelfth day of that month,
the control of certain reserves was vested in the Minister of
the Crown for the time being having the administration of
the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906 :

And whereas it is expedient that the aforesaid Order in
Council should be revoked over portion of the land described
in the Schedule thereto:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby revoke the Order in Council of the third day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and eight, aforesaid, in
so far as concerns the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.-PART HANMER THERMAL-
SPRINGS RESERVE.

ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods
10 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 3942,
Block II, Lyndon Survey District (formerly part of Section 45,
Hanmer Plains), and bounded as follows: Towards the west
by Reserve No. 4173, 931·3 links; towards the north-east
by the Jacks Pass Road, 243·3 links; and again towards the
south-east by other part of Reserve No. 3942 aforesaid. As
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 1/861A, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.

Revoking Order in Council of the 29th October, 1918, licensing
Mary Ann Constance Bryers to use and occupy a Part of
the Foreshore and Land below Low-water Mark at Omapere,
Hokianga Harbour, as a Site for a Wharf.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th
day of December, 1931.

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-ninth
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
eighteen, and published in the Gazette of the thirty-first day
of the same month, at page 3654, Mary Ann Constance Bryers,
of Omapere (hereinafter called “the licensee”), was licensed
to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-
water mark at Omapere, Hokianga Harbour, as a site for a
wharf, and dues and rates were prescribed to be charged
and taken for the use of the said wharf:

And whereas the licensee has applied to have the herein-
before-recited license revoked, and it is desirable to revoke
the same:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours
Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling
him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of
the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred
and eighteen, as from the thirty-first day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.

Setting aside Native Land as a Native Reservation.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of
December, 1931.

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section two hundred and thirty-two of
the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted, inter alia,
that when any Native freehold land is owned at law or in
equity by more than ten owners in common the Governor-
General may, by Order in Council, set apart and reserve any
part of that land for the common use of the owners thereof
as in the said Act provided:

And whereas the Native Land Court has recommended
that the land described in the Schedule hereto be set apart
as a Native reservation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and all
other powers thereunto him enabling, and acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby set apart and reserve the Native
freehold land described in the Schedule hereto for the common
use of the owners thereof as a meeting-place.

SCHEDULE.

BLOCK VII, UAWA SURVEY DISTRICT.

ALL that area of land situate in the Tairawhiti Native Land
Court District called or known as Mangatuna 1G Block, con-
taining 7 acres 2 roods 27 perches, more or less, and being
the whole of the land comprised in a partition order of the
Native Land Court dated the 5th November, 1895.

The North-western Side of Portion of Cuba Street, in the City
of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128
of the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day
of December, 1931.

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Wellington City Council on the seventeenth
day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
one, viz. :-

“The Wellington City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Wellington,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section one
hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928,
shall not apply to that part of the western side of Cuba
Street fronting that part of Section 177, Town of Wellington,
comprised in Certificates of Title, Vol. 91, folios 81 and 83,
Wellington Registry”;
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-western side of all that portion of street situated
in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known
as Cuba Street, fronting the land contained in Certificates
of Title, Vol. 91, folios 81 and 83, being parts Sections 175
and 177, Town of Wellington. As the said portion of street
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
82990, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
