Okains Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes of a recreation-ground ; and I do also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 acre 1 rood
37·5 perches.
Being portion of Rural Section 195.
Situated in Block I, Okains Survey District (Canterbury
R.D.). (S.P. 2233.)
In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82563,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of
November, 1931.

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road in
Blocks XI, XIII, and XIV, Ikitara Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
thirteen of the Native Land Amendment and Native
Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1928, I, Charles, Baron
Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zea-
land, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road traversing
Native land in Ikitara Survey District, described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a public
road : 23 acres 0 roods 29 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Rakautaua Block Nos. 1, 2,
3, 4, and 5, and Ruatangata 1c 1b Block.
Situated in Blocks XI, XIII, and XIV, Ikitara Survey
District.
In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82758,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
December, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908
(hereinafter referred to as “ the said Act ”), has recommended
that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be
permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and
subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 62, Block VII, Pohangina Survey District : Area,
96 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
December, 1931.

Revocation of the Reservation of a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and
pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses
of Parliament, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far
only as it relates to the Crown land described in the Schedule
hereto) the Proclamation of the twenty-third day of Sep-
tember, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, whereby
the said land (with certain other land) was set apart as a per-
manent State forest, and declare that the reservation thereby
effected is (so far only as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION
REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland District, containing by ad-
measurement 144 acres, more or less, and being Section 1,
Block IV, Aongatete Survey District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on plan No. 29/4, deposited in the
Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of
December, 1931.

Napier Business-area Town-planning Scheme, 1931, declared
urgent.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on me by the Napier Town-planning Regu-
lations, 1931, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, on the appli-
cation of the Napier Borough Council, declare the Napier
Business-area Town-planning Scheme, 1931, being the scheme
submitted to the Town-planning Board on the seventeenth
day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
one, to be urgent.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
December, 1931.
