Lands set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Marlborough Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—BLOCK IV, KAIHU SURVEY DISTRICT.

PART Section 5A : Area, 5 acres 0 roods 19 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of November, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown and National-endowment lands described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

Parts of State Forest No. 1 (Kaingaroa Plantation).

ALL that area in Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 24,969 acres, more or less, being part of Section 1, Block XIV, Ruawahia Survey District (3,169 acres national-endowment land) and parts of Runs Nos. 54 (13,300 acres Crown land) and 55 (8,500 acres national-endowment land), situated in Blocks XIV, XV, and XVI, Ruawahia Survey District, Blocks II, III, IV, V, and VI, Kaingaroa Survey District, Block XIII, Rangitaiki Lower Survey District, and Block I, Galatea Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the north by Section 2, Block XIII, Ruawahia Survey District, and Rerewhakaitu No. 1A No. 2, 6723·7 and 26712·5 links respectively ; towards the north-west by Rerewhakaitu No. 1A No. 2, 6400 links ; towards the north-east and again towards the north-west by Crown land (formerly Pokohu C No. 1), 10000 and 3184·4 links respectively ; again towards the north-east by Matahina A No. 1B, 61830·5 links ; towards the east by Matahina C No. 1 and Section 1, Block II, Galatea Survey District, 10677·4, 1634·2, and 8113·0 links respectively ; towards the south by the Ngatamawahine Stream, other parts of Runs Nos. 54 and 55 (State Forest No. 78, Gazette, 1927, page 460, and State Forest No. 1, Gazette, 1926, page 1918, respectively), 1300, 9519·4, 7751·8, 4739·5, 11843·7, 2486·8, 2311·2, 375·5, 2406·5, 1683·2, 1261·3, 730·4, and 15464·0 links respectively ; again towards the north-west by Section 1, Block I, Kaingaroa Survey District, and part of Section 1, Block XIV, Ruawahia Survey District, 37888·8 links ; towards the south by another part of Section 1, Block XIV, Ruawahia Survey District, 16228·8 links ; and towards the south-west by a reserve along the eastern shore of Lake Rerewhakaitu, 99·3, 6370·2, and 7453·5 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan No. 47/33, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area of national-endowment land in Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 40,000 acres, more or less, being Runs Nos. 90 and 91, situated in Blocks X, XI, XII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Tauhara Survey District, Blocks IX and XIII, Otukotara Survey District, Blocks III and IV, Waitahanui Survey District, and Blocks I, II, V, and VI, Maruanui Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the north-east by Tauhara Middle No. 4A No. 2 ; towards the north-west by Tauhara Middle No. 4A No. 2, by Crown land (formerly Opepe), and again by Tauhara Middle No. 4A No. 2 ; towards the south-east by Run No. 60 (State Forest No. 1, Gazette, 1930, page 2639) ; again towards the north-east by the Taupo-Napier Road ; towards the east by Pahautea and Wharetoto No. 8 ; towards the south-west by the Tauhara South A ; and towards the west by the Waitahanui Stream and Tauhara Middle No. 4A No. 1K, No. 4A No. 1L No. 2, No. 4A No. 1L No. 1, and No. 4A No. 1R : save and excepting the Roto-a-Kui Reserve and two intersecting public roads. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan No. 54/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan No. 1546C, red.)

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land :

And whereas the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become vested in the Crown under the provisions of sections six and seven of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1923 :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, and of any other power me enabling, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

KAIMOHO A3, containing an area of 550 acres, more or less (including closed road), situate in Blocks I and V, Waipiro Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 84, folio 75, of the Land Registration District of Gisborne.

Ngamoe A12, containing an area of 1,054 acres 1 rood 31 perches, more or less, situate in Blocks IV and VIII, Mata, and Block I, Waipiro Survey Districts, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 84, folio 76, of the Land Registration District of Gisborne.

Whareponga A7, containing an area of 265 acres 2 roods 13 perches, more or less, situate in Blocks IV and VIII, Mata, and Block V, Waipiro Survey Districts, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 84, folio 77, of the Land Registration District of Gisborne.

Whareponga A6, containing an area of 259 acres 2 roods, more or less, situate in Block VIII, Mata, and Block V, Waipiro Survey Districts, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 84, folio 78, of the Land Registration District of Gisborne.

Rahui A6, containing an area of 262 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, situate in Block I, Waipiro Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 84, folio 79, of the Land Registration District of Gisborne.

Matarau A, containing an area of 295 acres 0 roods 17 perches, more or less, situate in Block I, Waipiro Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 84, folio 80, of the Land Registration District of Gisborne.

Mangaroa A, containing an area of 640 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, situate in Block IV, Mata, and Block I, Waipiro Survey Districts, and being the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 84, folio 81, of the Land Registration District of Gisborne.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of November, 1931.
