NOTICE is hereby given that the above company, by resolution dated 20th October, 1931, has gone into voluntary liquidation, and the undersigned has been appointed Liquidator.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 19th day of October, 1931, presented to Mr. Justice Herdman, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by the Official Liquidator of The Empire Tobacco Corporation, Limited (in Liquidation), a contributory of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on Monday, the 14th day of December, 1931, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for winding-up the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or by his counsel, for that purpose, and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by extraordinary resolution of shareholders dated the 10th day of November, 1931, the following resolution was passed:
"That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. R. A. SPINLEY, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of the such winding-up."

"That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that the secretary of the company be hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."
