Classification of Portion of Picton-Bluff Main Highway.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Motor-lorry Regulations, 1927, and their amendments, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Main Highways Board’s proposed classification of that portion of the Picton-Bluff Main Highway, commencing at the north boundary of the Dunedin City and terminating at the south boundary of Palmerston Borough, in the Third Class, available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry (other than a multi-axled motor-lorry) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled motor-lorry which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 8 tons.

Classification of Road in Waikohu County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the motor-lorry Regulations, 1927, and their amendments, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby alter the Waikohu County Council’s proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in the Waikohu County, and do hereby approve such altered classification as set forth in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
WAIKOHU COUNTY.
ROAD classified in the Fourth Class: Available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry (other than a multi-axled motor-lorry which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 4½ tons, or any multi-axled motor-lorry which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 6½ tons.
No. 15 Pokeno-Wellington Main Highway (section within the Waikohu County).

Classification of Portion of Lake Pukaki – Mt. Cook Hermitage Main Highway.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Motor-lorry Regulations, 1927, and their amendments, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Main Highways Board’s proposed classification of that portion of the Lake Pukaki–Mt. Cook Hermitage Main Highway, commencing at the junction with the Timaru–Queenstown via Tekapo and Lindis Pass Main Highway at Pukaki and terminating at the Mt. Cook Hermitage, in the Third Class, available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry (other than a multi-axled motor-lorry) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled motor-lorry which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 8 tons.

Notifying Land in the North Auckland Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I hereby notify that the undermentioned land, being the land known as Waiteitei Settlement, which was acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, became subject to the said Act as from the 28th March, 1918.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WAITEITEI SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 747 acres, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, 3, and 6, Block IX, Pakiri Survey District, Section 8, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District, Allotment 90, Arai Parish, and being all the land contained in Certificates of Title, Vol. 59, folios 306, 307, Vol. 215, folio 81, Vol. 104, folio 78, and provisional register, Vol. 117, folio 33, respectively. Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 987 acres 1 rood 39 perches, more or less, being Sections 6, 10, 11, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District, Allotments 78, 78A, Pt. 44, Arai Parish, being all the land contained in Certificates of Title, Vol. 76, folio 98, Vol. 124, folio 5, Vol. 137, folio 226, Vol. 148, folio 38, and Conveyance 260529, together with Pt. Allotment 79, Crown land, Arai Parish, and roads closed by Proclamation through Allotment 44, Arai Parish, and Section 10, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1907, page 2678: Bounded, commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of Lot 1, on a plan of a subdivision of Pakiri No. 1 Block, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, numbered 1987, being the southernmost corner of Section 7, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District; towards the south-east by the north-western boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid to and by the Wangaripo Stream, to the northern boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District; thence towards the south by the northern boundary of Section 1, Block VIII aforesaid, to and across a public road, and again by the northern boundary of Section 1 aforesaid to the north-western corner of that allotment, thence towards the west by the abutment of a public road and by the eastern boundary of Section 12, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by a right line bearing 283° 15′, distance 1131·0 links, to a public road; towards the north-west generally by the last-mentioned public road, to and by another public road forming the south-western boundary of the other part of Allotment 44, Arai Parish, to a point in line with the production of the south-eastern boundary of part Allotment 44 aforesaid; thence across the last-mentioned public road to and by the south-eastern boundary of part Allotment 44 aforesaid to the Waiteitei Stream; towards the east generally by the Waiteitei Stream to a point in line with the production of the south-western boundary of Section 7, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District; and thence across Waiteitei Stream to and by the south-western boundary of Section 7 aforesaid to the southernmost corner of that section, the point of commencement, excepting thereout two public roads: be all the aforesaid admeasurements more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 21/85, deposited under No. 2528 in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PAERATA SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 191 acres 3 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Lots 7 and 8 on a plan deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, numbered 7691, of a subdivision of Allotment 50, Parish of Karaka, and being all the land contained in Certificate of Title, Vol. 260, folio 237, Auckland Register. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 26/2/11, deposited under No. 2527 in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS notice was published in the Gazette of the 20th August, 1931, that the Native Minister has decided to apply the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929, to Karamu F2 and other blocks of Native land or land owned by Natives in the Ikaroa Native Land Court District: And whereas the Native Minister has now decided that the Native land or land owned by Natives set out in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of subsection (3) of the said section 23, and shall be included in
