and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the First Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Waihi, in trust, for recreation purposes, and the reserves described in the Second Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Egmont, in trust, for gravel purposes.

Thomas Andrews, John Dunstan Atkinson, Walter Irving Bowyer, Edward Edinborough Chamberlain, Gordon Duncan, Hope Frame, William Hogan, Alan Featherston Little, John O'Regan, Murray Campbell Pratt, Charles Leslie Roberts, Robert Hector Donald Stidolph, and Francis Hillery Thompson
to be Inspectors under the said Act.

Appointment of Cemetery Trustees, Matahuru Public Cemetery.--(H.C. 100.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in my by section fifty-five of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint The Waikato County Council to be trustees of the Matahuru Public Cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto, and to have the control and management of the said cemetery.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke a certain Warrant, dated the thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the twenty-first day of the same month, appointing trustees for the Te Uku Public Cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto.

Appointing a Member of the Waimakariri Harbour Board.

WHEREAS it is provided by subsection three of section thirty-eight of the Harbours Act, 1923, that in the event of an extraordinary vacancy in the office of a non-elective member of a Harbour Board the Governor-General shall, by Warrant under his hand, appoint some qualified person in his place : And whereas Thomas Robert Leithead, a non-elective member of the Waimakariri Harbour Board, is deceased, and an extraordinary vacancy in the membership of the Board has thereby been created, and it is desirable to appoint a qualified person in his place : Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, doth hereby appoint
James Albert Mealings
to be a member of the Waimakariri Harbour Board, in the place of the said Thomas Robert Leithead, deceased.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 21st day of November, 1931.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by section six of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22 (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act"), I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the right bank of the Lyell Creek in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 223, Block X, Mount Fyffe Survey District; thence down the right bank of the Lyell Creek to its mouth; thence by a right line to the left bank of the said Lyell Creek; thence up the left bank of the Lyell Creek to a point in line with the production of the south-eastern boundary of Section 223 aforesaid; thence along that line to the right bank of the Lyell Creek, the point of commencement.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 21st day of November, 1931.
