Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block II, Moeangiangi Survey District, Blocks X and XII, Mohaka Survey District, and Block IX, VII, and IV, Waihua Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, Napier Northwards, and which is no longer required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Wairoa County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of January, 1931.
