Altering the Boundaries of the Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Rural Section Number 1069; thence generally northerly along the middle of the Halswell River to a point in line with the most south-westerly corner of Rural Section 1593; thence by the road along the southern boundary of that section and Rural Sections 772, 1594, 1100, 1913, 1592, and 1081 to its junction with Quarry Road; thence northerly along the middle of that road to its intersection with the Hoon Hay Road; thence easterly along the middle of Hoon Hay Road to a point in line with the south-westerly corner of Rural Section 1944; thence along the southern boundary of that section and Rural Section 2599 to the eastern boundary of the Halswell County; thence southerly along the boundary of the aforesaid County to Burke’s Bush Road north; thence westerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the north-western corner of Section 17737; thence generally south and south-westerly along the boundary of that section to the south-western corner thereof; thence southerly in a straight line along the eastern boundaries of Survey Blocks Numbers 2, 6, and 10 to the centre of the Ahuriri Bush Road at a point opposite the southerly corner of Rural Section 21154; thence generally south-westerly, south-easterly, and south-westerly along the middle of that road to the commencing-point. As the said area is more particularly delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 80454, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of January, 1931.

Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 2 roods 37·86 perches.

Being portion of Section 2, Watts Peninsula District (being part Point Halswell Military Reserve).

Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 132/31.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80563, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of January, 1931.

Defining the Middle-line of Roads in Block XIII, Mapara Survey District—viz., Deviations of the Te Kuiti–Taumarunui Road, Waimiha-Poro-o-Tarao Section.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-lines of roads desired to be constructed over Block XIII, Mapara Survey District—viz., deviations of the Te Kuiti–Taumarunui Road—shall be those defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

FIRSTLY, that deviation, commencing at a point on the Te Kuiti–Taumarunui Road opposite Subdivision 79H No. 1B, Section 2, of Rangitoto-Tuhua Block, Block XIII, Mapara Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 40·8 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Subdivisions 79H No. 1B Section 2, 79H No. 1A, and 79G No. 1, Rangitoto-Tuhua Block, Block XIII, Mapara Survey District—and terminating at a point on the said Te Kuiti–Taumarunui Road opposite the said Subdivision 79G No. 1:

Secondly, that deviation, commencing at a point on the said Te Kuiti–Taumarunui Road opposite Subdivision 79G No. 2C of the said Rangitoto-Tuhua Block, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 22·7 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Subdivisions 79G No. 2C, 79G No. 2B, and 79G No. 2A, Rangitoto-Tuhua Block, Block XIII, Mapara Survey District—and terminating at a point on the said Te Kuiti–Taumarunui Road opposite the said Subdivision 79G No. 2A:

Including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Taranaki Land District. As the same are delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80988, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of February, 1931.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:—
