deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for a road-diversion in connection
with the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, Apata Section.

Altering the Boundaries of the South Taranaki Electric-power
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me
by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925,
and of every other power in anywise enabling me in that
behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries
of the South Taranaki Electric-power District so as to include
the areas described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land (being part of the Outer Area of the
South Taranaki Electric-power District, as defined in the
Second Schedule to Proclamation dated the 24th day of
April, 1925, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1925,
No. 27, at page 1129) situate in the Land Districts of Taranaki
and Wellington, comprising that part of the County of Hawera
not comprised in the South Taranaki Electric-power District,
as defined in the First Schedule to the aforementioned Pro-
clamation, dated the 24th day of April, 1925, and part of the
County of Patea: Bounded, commencing at the mouth of
the Tongahoe Stream and the southern boundary of the
South Taranaki Electric-power District; thence in a south-
easterly direction along the sea-coast to the mouth of the
Whenuakura River; thence along the Whenuakura River
from its mouth to the Wellington-Taranaki provincial bound-
ary; thence following along the provincial boundary generally
in a north-easterly direction to where it meets the boundary
of the Waitotara County; thence generally in a northerly
direction along the boundary of the Waitotara County until
it meets the southern boundary of the Stratford County;
thence generally in a westerly and southerly direction along
the northern boundary of the Patea County until it meets
the boundary of the Hawera County; thence generally in a
westerly direction along the northern boundary of the Hawera
County until it meets the eastern boundary of the South
Taranaki Electric-power District; thence generally in a
southerly direction along the eastern boundary of the South
Taranaki Electric-power District to the sea and the point of
commencement at the mouth of the Tongahoe Stream, but
not including in such area the Borough of Patea, the bound-
aries whereof are defined in the New Zealand Gazette of 1882
at page 124, as the said area is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 80915, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of
January, 1931.

the Taranaki Electric-power District so as to include the
area described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land situate in the Provincial District of
Taranaki, comprising portion of the Inglewood County
bounded by the Waitara River from its junction with the
boundary-line between Section 10 and Subsection 12,
Block XIV, Waitara Survey District, to a point adjacent to
the north-western corner Section 6, N.R., Block III, Huiroa
Survey District; thence by the southern and eastern bound-
aries of Section 5 and the southern boundaries of Sections 17,
18, and 19, Block XV, and the western and southern bound-
aries of Section 1, E.R., Block XVI, Waitara Survey District,
respectively; thence by the western and southern boundaries
of Section 2, the western boundaries of Sections 6, 8, and 12,
Block IV, Huiroa Survey District, the Pita and Autawa Roads,
and the western boundary of Section 14, Block IV, Huiroa
Survey District, to the Waitara River; thence by the Waitara
River to a point adjacent to the northernmost corner of
Section 13, Block VII, Huiroa Survey District; thence by
the north-western boundary of the said Section 13 and the
Motukawa and Kupara Roads to western boundary of
Block VII, Huiroa Survey District, thence by the eastern
boundaries of Sections 48, 44, and 43, Block VI, and the
southern and western boundaries of Section 29, Block II, the
northern boundary of Section 58, Block III, the south-western
boundaries of Sections 28 and 27, and the western boundary
of Section 26, Block II, Huiroa Survey District, to the junction
of the Remutauteka and Mangaone Roads; thence by the
Mangaone Road to the north-western corner of Section 10,
Block XIV, Waitara Survey District; thence by the northern
boundary of the said section, to the point of commencement;
as the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 80902, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of
January, 1931.
