CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Education Reserve in North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, 10th November, 1931.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 11 o’clock a.m., on Monday, 14th December, 1931, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908, and amendments.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

PRIMARY.

Bay of Islands County.—Kawakawa Parish.

Lot 4, D.P. 23015, being Allotment 131: Area, 47 acres 3 roods 16 perches. Upset annual rental, £6.

Improvements consisting of 25 chains boundary-fencing, 25 acres rough feed, and wattle plantation, are included in the capital value.

Section is situated on Hupara Road, and is approximately six miles from Kawakawa Railway-station by a formed road, three-quarters of which is metalled. Land is easy to slightly broken, partly improved. Soil is fair clay resting on sandstone formation. Section is well watered by a stream. Altitude varies from 500 ft. to 600 ft. above sea-level.

Settlement Land in North Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, 11th November, 1931

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at this office on Monday, 14th December, 1931, at 11 o’clock a.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.

Waitemata County.—Waari Hamlet.

SECTION 58: Area, 5 acres. Upset price, £265.

Weighted with £435, for improvements comprising four-roomed bungalow, wash-house, fowlhouse and runs, cowshed, 6 chains road-fencing, 22 chains boundary-fencing, 24 chains subdivisional fencing, and 3 acres grass. This sum may be paid for in cash or mortgage given to the Superintendent, State Advances Department, for thirty years, with interest at 6 per cent. Costs of preparation and registration of mortgage are payable by purchaser.

Section situated within a stone’s throw of New North Road (which is concreted from Auckland) on formed, part metalled, clay road, and commands a fine view of the Waitakerei Ranges. Access is from Oratia Station, half a mile away. All level land, ploughable, the soil being of a clay nature on sandstone. Elevation is 250 ft. above sea-level.

Lot 1 of Subdivision 4 of Section 306: Area, 5·94 perches. Upset price, £170.

Situated on the east side of Hastings Street, adjacent to house property numbered 224.

The area is not large enough to permit of the erection of a dwelling, but would be suitable for a shop-site.
