PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1926, the undersigned Donald Williamson, of Poolburn, Farmer, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

Precise time of marking out privilege applied for: 4 p.m., 23/12/30.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of HASTINGS TIMBER AND JOINERY COMPANY, LIMITED, held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, 2nd December, 1930, at the office of Messrs. Rainbow, Hobbs, and Nesbitt, 126 Queen Street, Hastings, the following resolution was duly carried :—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that WILLIAM BARTON HOBBS, of Hastings, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”
