DANNEVIRKE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Dannevirke Borough Council Gasworks Renewal Loan £20,000, 1931.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Dannevirke Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000), authorized to be raised by the Dannevirke Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding balance of the Gasworks Purchase and Extension Loan, raised on the 1st day of November, 1921, and maturing on the 1st day of November, 1931, the said Dannevirke Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable property of the Borough of Dannevirke ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

HAVELOCK NORTH TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Earthquake Relief Loan, 1931 (No. 1), of £950.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and the Hawke's Bay Earthquake Act, 1931, the Havelock North Town Board hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £950, authorized to be raised by the Havelock North Town Board under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of paying the cost of restoring the damage caused by the earthquake, the said Havelock North Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-sixteenths of one penny in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Havelock North Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the last fifteen years of the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during that period of the currency of the loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.
