Land in the Auckland Land District for Sale or Selection.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be opened for selection in terms of the Land Act, 1924, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, 27th October, 1931.

Applicants should appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 28th October, 1931, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The land may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or on deferred payments, or be selected on renewable lease.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Otorohanga County.—Wharepapa Survey District.

SECTION 1, Block XII: Area, 214 acres. Capital value, £150. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £4 11s. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £3 15s.

Weighted with £75, for improvements consisting of slab whare, approximately 40 ch. road fencing, 25 ch. boundary-fencing, 30 ch. subdivisional fencing.

This sum is payable in cash.

Grazing property, situated on the Karaka Road, six miles from Ngaroma and seventeen miles from Pukeatua Post-office; six miles from Arohena School; and thirty-one miles from Te Awamutu Railway-station, dairy factory, and sale-yards.

Access is from Te Awamutu, eighteen miles metalled road and twelve miles clay-road.

Unulating section, 70 acres of which has been felled and grassed, but now reverted. Ragwort requires attention; 170 acres in natural state.

This property is sheltered and lies well to the sun.

The soil is a pumice on loam formation; watered by swamp and running streams.
