Declaring Land in Hauraki Mining District, Auckland Land District, open for Disposal on Renewable Lease.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and fifty-four of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General, by Proclamation, may from time to time declare any lands within any mining district to be open for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-fifty-fourth section of the said Act, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open on Friday, the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—HAURAKI MINING DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.
Thames County.—Hastings Survey District.
SECTION 21, Block XV : Area, 304 acres. Capital value, £150. Half-yearly rent, £3.
Weighted with £115 for improvements.
Coromandel County.—Harataunga Survey District.
Section 8, Block II : Area, 146 acres. Capital value, £40. Half-yearly rent, 16s.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of October, 1931.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 85 acres 1 rood 12 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on deposited plan 23620, and being portion of the block situated in Block XII, Aongatete Survey District, called Whakamarama No. 2, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title Vol. 629, folio 106, Auckland Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of October, 1931.

Land set apart as an Addition to a Public-school Site.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area adjoining the reserve for a public-school site described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said reserve.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 46, Block I, Maungaru Survey District : Area, 2 roods 12 perches.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 25, Block I, Maungaru Survey District : Area, 5 acres.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 3 roods 7·4 perches.
Adjoining Sections 45, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 59, 60, 62, 63, and 64, Waimana Village Extension, and Section 15, Waimana Settlement.
Situated in Block III, Waimana Survey District. (S.O plan 26040.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19333, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2518, and thereon coloured green.
