NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections will be offered for lease by public auction at the Lands and Survey Office, Nelson, at 11 o’clock a.m. on Tuesday, 10th November, 1931, under the provisions of the Nelson and Westland Coalfields Administration Act, 1877, and amendments, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

Land in Otago Land District, Otago Mining District, for Selection on Renewable Lease.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Dunedin, 5th October, 1931.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 9th November, 1931.

Applicants must appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 11th November, 1931, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant so desires he may be examined by the Land Board of any other district.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of examination of applicants.

The land is offered in terms of section 153 of the Land Act, which provides that no right to any mineral under the surface shall pertain to the lessee, whose right shall be to the surface only.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—OTAGO MINING DISTRICT.

Bruce County.—Table Hill Survey District.

SECTIONS 9 and 33, Block IV: Area, 89 acres 2 roods 18 perches. Capital value, £75. Half-yearly rent, £1 10s.

Situated about two miles from Manuka Creek Railway-station and post and telegraph office, by formed and part metalled road, and about nine miles distant from Milton. The sections are undulating, with patches of gorse throughout. The soil is of a light loam resting on clay formation.

Situated on Lake Te Anau. The quality of the land varies slightly, but generally it is of a light sandy nature, with gravel showing in most parts, and carrying a light manuka scrub.
