Revoking the Setting-apart of Settlement Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the eighteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of January, then instant, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PIAKO COUNTY.—CAMBRIDGE AND MAUNGAKAWA SURVEY DISTRICTS.—TE MIRO SETTLEMENT.

SECTIONS 32s and 70s, Te Miro Settlement : Area, 669 acres 1 rood.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of September, 1931.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block II, Clyde Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway—viz., portion of the branch line to a wharf on the left bank of the Wairoa River, opposite the Town of Wairoa, and which is no longer required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Wairoa County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with : 15 perches. Being portion of railway land.

Situated in Block II, Clyde Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1007, green.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 78688, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of September, 1931.

Altering the Boundaries of the Wairere Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Wairere Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the County of Waitomo commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Block IX, Awakino North Survey District, and bounded by a line running west on the northern boundaries of Section 1, Block IX, Awakino North Survey District; Section 3 and 1, Block VI, Awakino North Survey District, to the Manganui River ; thence in a southerly direction along the said river to the north-eastern corner of Section 3, Block V, Awakino North Survey District; thence along the northern boundaries of the said Section 3, Block V, Awakino North Survey District, and Section 4, Block V, Awakino North Survey District, to the sea ; thence in a southerly direction along the foreshore of the sea to the mouth of the Mokau River ; thence in an easterly direction along the Mokau River to the southern corner of Mangaawakino 1g ; thence in a north-easterly direction along the south-eastern boundary of Mangaawakino No. 1g and the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Mangaawakino No. la to the north-eastern corner of Mangaawakino No. la ; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of the last-mentioned section to the south-eastern corner of Mahoenui No. 6 ; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Mahoenui No. 6 to the north-eastern corner of the latter block ; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of Mahoenui No. 6 to the Awakino River ; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Awakino North Survey District, to the commencing-point. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81848, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of September, 1931.

Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown Land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 42 acres 3 roods 9 perches. Being railway land adjoining or passing through part Lot 2 of Section 23, Block XV, Kaupokonui Survey District ; part Lots 1 and 2 of Section 16, part Sections 17, 18, 19, 20, part Lot 1 of Sections 63 and 21, part Lot 2 of Section 21, Block III, Waimate Survey District ; Ngatitu 22b and 21c, Block II, Waimate Survey District ; part Sections 22, 23, 24, parts Section 3, part Section 2, and Sections 4 and 5, Block III, Waimate Survey District ; part Sections 105, 102, and 95, Block VII, Waimate Survey District ; and Kaepe Street, Karaka Street, Tauhuri Street, and an unnamed street in Manaia Town District.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81913, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of September, 1931.
